    Yeah it isn’t so much that short hooks are less powerful, what made this crazy was that not only was it short, connecting like 1/4 to 1/2 through its trajectory, but that he was against the fence being pressed and in a super crowded position and didn’t have time or the ability to really load or get any torque in the shot and it was rushed, and even then it lifted a 6’4 220+ lb man off his feet when it cracked him

    Jiri was the only fighter I've seen that can outland Pereira from mid-range and close-range which is really impressive but his lack of leg kicking defense was always gonna be his undoing

    @@avg_user-dd2yb wasnt one mistake only. The leg kicks were his doom, they forced him to either keep distance or close it, Pereira knew that Jiri was agressive and would try to close distance and thats when he had the counter for Jiris right hand ready

    @@gilsoftcoder2387 They definitely should have included more alex moments in this fight jiri was winning convincingly in the second up until that sharp counter from poatan. so dominating isnt the right choice of words but he was beating pereira. Anyways it was alex's gameplan to lure jiri in after hurting his legs. cause he knew pressuring jiri was a dangerous game to play. he used izzy's way of luring opponents to beat

    I do enjoy watching these. You get to see some of the narrow margins that decide fights, as well as really take in the damage some of these guys are taking without showing it.

    Jiri really does not surpass Alex in striking, it is simply that Pereira does not have a fight so he has to keep in mind that he can suffer a hold, so his focus is not only on stand up, this is MMA brother, on the other hand Alex had a strategy, waiting for just that, for Jiri to attack and waiting for him to counterpunch.

    The heart these fighters have is insane. You can’t tell as much in real time, but you can see these hits reverberate throughout their entire body. The power they have is insane. It’s also noticeable the difference in power between the men and women, and even the women could kick 90% of the population’s ass, myself included.

    I say it every time, but it’s so insanely stupid that they don’t show the finishes in these highlights. It’s been almost 2 weeks, anyone who was going to buy the PPV or replay has already done so, or streamed it or seen the highlights. No one is buying a Fight Pass subscription just to see these highlights, it’s beyond pointless to not include them here. Just baffles me that such a large company can continuously display such incompetence.

    If you want to see hard and affected punch 4:13 the Punch from Mackenzie Dern is a Perfect example. That looks strong and effected even in slow-mo

    @@onlytymewilltell there are multiple reasons behind this. First, that shot is right on the temple but Jessica is a little bit out of range so she can't get full impact. Second no doubt that the shot is good but Mackenzie does not have crazy punch power no matter how hard she hits. Lastly, Jessica has a great Chin she knows how to take a shot.

    These videos are always edited extremely weird. Why wouldn’t you show the full finishes on these? Made loopy look like she was losing. These videos are always late and so weirdly edited it’s insane.
