In the second fight against against Leon that occurred 14 months ago, I think most people would agree that he was winning that fight until that headkick. The most recent fight with Leon was closesly contested too, definitely not a washed up fighter.

He is not washes up at all but his knees are gone, and he can't wrestle without his knees, I have always respected usman and I don't get the hate he gets but I sure do respect him and he is not washed.

Last fight couldnt take down edwards...so we know from his side its just striking....usman not good striker. Masvidal got koed because of takedowns and colby has no power. Chimaev by far his harfest fight

When this man is gone, I will forever be grateful of how active of a champion he was. He never held the division up. And took all the up-comers whether they deserved it or not. One of the greatest reigns in UFC. 2nd to only Anderson Silva in being undefeated.

he ate a HARD head kick right to the head and got SLEPT out cold. I think you're underestimating what effect that has on a fighters brain and his chin which still hasn't been fully tested since. his knees are also hanging on by a thread. guy hasn't even taken much damage over his career but it seems likely his decline started with that headkick. time will tell.

Respectfully, GSP has earned his flowers and then some. No-one denies GSP's greatness. Everyone already gives MJ his credit. But when Lebron is actively performing, give him his deserved flowers too. Agreed. Inspiring to see how quickly he improved as a striker. He earned all my respect from that point onwards. There's something so deserving and impressive about someone who already has a winning formula with his wrestling. And then decides, rather than using his renowned strength (because although I wasn't a fan of the wrestling, I can't deny it won him his fights), decides to improve another weakness, and is now equally skilled in that department. Huge credit to Usman.

If Marty's knees are good, Khamzat is gonna get wrekt. Khamzat had a hard time taking down Burns, which means taking down Usman is simply out of the question. This is ultimately going to become a stand-up fight putting Usman at a significant advantage. Khamzats striking only works if his opponent can't defend or is afraid of his wrestling.
