A video that needed to be made. Because all these casuals calling him washed up. 14 months ago, he was on a 19 fight win streak, 15 fight win streak in the UFC. In the second fight against against Leon that occurred 14 months ago, I think most people would agree that he was winning that fight until that headkick. The most recent fight with Leon was closesly contested too, definitely not a washed up fighter.

When this man is gone, I will forever be grateful of how active of a champion he was. He never held the division up. And took all the up-comers whether they deserved it or not. One of the greatest reigns in UFC. 2nd to only Anderson Silva in being undefeated.

he ate a HARD head kick right to the head and got SLEPT out cold. I think you're underestimating what effect that has on a fighters brain and his chin which still hasn't been fully tested since. his knees are also hanging on by a thread. guy hasn't even taken much damage over his career but it seems likely his decline started with that headkick. time will tell.

Kamaru Usman truly is one of the all time greats, not only as a Welterweight but also all time UFC champions💯 So dominant, his wrestling was always his strong suit yet he improved so much with his striking, his KO of Jorge Masvidal and finishes of Colby and Byrne were iconic 👏👏👏👏his Welterweight championship reign was so memorable, amazing title defenses against Colby Covington, Jorge Masvidal, Gilbert Burns, so much respect for Kamaru Usman stepping up on 9 days notice to take on the tough challenge of Khamzat 🫡

Respectfully, GSP has earned his flowers and then some. No-one denies GSP's greatness. Everyone already gives MJ his credit. But when Lebron is actively performing, give him his deserved flowers too. Don't over-index on nostalgia to give credit. GSP is one of the greatest of all time and is presently retired. And Kamaru is one of the greatest of all time too who is still active. There's no comparison. Just incredibly skilled men at the top of their game.

Agreed. Inspiring to see how quickly he improved as a striker. He earned all my respect from that point onwards. There's something so deserving and impressive about someone who already has a winning formula with his wrestling. And then decides, rather than using his renowned strength (because although I wasn't a fan of the wrestling, I can't deny it won him his fights), decides to improve another weakness, and is now equally skilled in that department. Huge credit to Usman.

If Marty's knees are good, Khamzat is gonna get wrekt. Khamzat had a hard time taking down Burns, which means taking down Usman is simply out of the question. This is ultimately going to become a stand-up fight putting Usman at a significant advantage. Khamzats striking only works if his opponent can't defend or is afraid of his wrestling.

Fun Fact: since beating Tyron Woodley to earn the welterweight championship, Kamaru Usman has only defended against (4) people: Colby Covington x2 Jorge Masvidal x2 Leon Edwards x2 Gilbert Burns

Usman's this fight has the same vibes of TKZ vs Poirier and Darren Till vs Tyron Woodley in other words a Young, Unexperienced kid who thinks he is the Champ vs a Dominant, All time Great Fighter a Real Champion isn't it lil fellas 😂

Gets ko'ed after dominating for 5 rds and looses a close rematch against someone who has been studying him for years and suddenly becomes a bum : I think a lot of people are going to be surprised in a few hours.

He has defeated so many great fighters, yet fighters like khabib are considered better 🤷

I really dont see how Khabib could be ranked higher than Usman. Kamaru has the better resume and has more title defences.
