  People need to understand his karate stance is still obsolete to his current boxing stance. Yes the leg kicks were tough on his heavy plant leg but it only would’ve been worse on his wider karate stance where more weight is on that lead leg. The leg kick renaissance that’s been going on in the ufc and the usage of the Dutch low-kick and calf kick is truly what defeated him. The sport simply moved past him.
