Why are the knockouts so shit. Bad ragdolls, and when i get a good knockout it's ruined because the fighter falls so fast its like the gravity changes

@@Dunkasnu you probably forgot ufc 300, just look at him bro, his arms are longer and not that big like in the game, he is way skinnier in real life, in the game he looks way stronger than reality, in ufc 300 he was looking like a lolipop with that big head and skinny body, but in the game he is huge as fuck😂

L game… instead of going all in on visuals, you should have gone all in on their uniqueness like movement, stance, unique moves etc… gameplay is what matters the most in sports games

@@ocdsworld7977 I don’t play the game because it looks terrible visually, has worse animations than Mortal Kombat, and none of the fighters feel unique. It fails as a fighting game and a fighting simulation. If you spent your money on UFC 5 over something like Tekken 8 or Street Fighter 6, then you’re just sad.

Thank you Dana and the rest of the UFC for showing my process of how I build characters. I have been creating Thug Rose so many times with different pipelines. Now I am doing scan data which I hardly used back then and just cross referenced in a google search.

Amazing, please post more stuff like this. An entire in depth breakdown with the artist's creating the models. Maybe you guys can give a couple standard .STL'S away and than charge for others. Lets Go Baby Lets Fuggin Go !

whats the point of paying so much attention to character model detail when every fighter plays and feels the same with the same ugly striking animations.

I wish there was a system in place where you can create a move set that you can give to your CAFs as well as the fighters in game with the default ones being available to select as well.

Please please please add more interactions and ways to call out fighters in career mode. I assure you we all want to be champion and still play career

Models look horrible. I will never understand why they can’t get them way closer to how they actually look in real life. I don’t mean textures, i mean the actual mesh model of the fighters. They put crazy abs on fighters who don’t really have abs like that. Makes absolutely no sense.

For O’Malleys hair color they just got the rgb slider ready lmao

I don’t think the face scans are bad. The issue is the cuts don’t look good and the physics aren’t good. Game is very stunning to look at. We just need a more fluid system to fight on.

The character models look great in general, but some need to be updated (Conor McGregor, Marina Rodriguez and Tracy Cortez for example).

Why arnt they just scanning the fighters?! Pictures seem like such a complicated way with dataloss.

Now I know for a fact we have the technology to literally just scan and copy the fighter models and move sets. Ask help from 2k or something 💀

Why not just use photogrammetry methods? You have the athletes on set. Can just take 1 to 1 3d point cloud photos, and convert to meshes. Then take that and fit it in with a mid-high poly base model with Wrap4d. No need to artists besides tweaking micro details.

ufc 4.1, same takedowns, same stricking, same bugs, just new grappling, no grappling on the cage like khabib style etc...

EA putting in all that effort to make the fighters realistic as possible but then copy and pasting another fighter’s motion on them is ridiculous. Why does MVP not keep his arms lower to his side and hop around a lot more. Ya’ll gave him a Bruce Lee jab. Stupid.

EA will never give us a finalised product of a game we all want. They’re in contract with the UFC for years and they know they will run out of ideas if we get a perfect game too soon. For example, UFC 3 had a clinch system, also elbows to the ground (that you could throw repeatedly not just once then flop on your opponent again) UFC 4 they removed elbows, told us they’re back in UFC 5 to promote the game then gave us the single elbow mechanic. This shit really is embarassing they got me in here speakin yapanese.
