@tonyhawk94 you can't compare French special forces and the legion in that respect. That's similar to comparing the British sas to the royal marines. They are completely different things and special forces would generally be harder.
He has the ideal backstory for the UFC and the fan base.

UFC knows that and they promote him haaaaard. Another way to look at it is how can he be fighting Dustin after such minimal wins. Okay they were good wins but he always took damage and the opponents were nowhere near top 5 or top10. I fear UFC will want to give him a title fight if he wins against Dustin lol Meanwhile in other categories, you have excellent fighters who beat everyone, and need to wait yeaaaars before they are presented with a top 5 contender. Others who have interim belt and get fights to defend their interim belts... Good for Benoit and he might get the win over Dustin, but just a shame for the UFC as they are turning into a big joke. Nothing that they do across division make sense.

@@lkix8010 Why do you fear they give him a title fight if he wins Poirier? It would be legitimate since it would prove he is a legitimate candidate for the title. Two wrongs don't make one right, according to what you said the problem is more that some fighters don't get the fights they deserve
This guy is gonna be a fan favorite. It's one thing to fight against killers inside the octagon, another to have the experience to perform under pressure with actual assassins in war.

This is the only guy that retired a referee by being too tough. The ref of the dos Santos fight, had another fight assigned that night, and someone in the ufc made sure that this didn't happen.
an inspiring personality, he is determined, courageous, humble. he progresses fight after fight towards the objective he has set for himself, after having experienced the "real" war, having had to fight for his life and that of others, he has forged a mentality, an extraordinary discipline. on top of all that he likes it, he likes to confront brave adversaries, I wish him to achieve his goals and write his own legend. respect🙌🏻

Benoît vient d'avoir 28 ans et il n'a pas beaucoup de combats. Il veut encore se tester de cette manière pendant son Prime et comme tout les autres avant lui,il se calmera mais pour l'instant "non". Il veut du sang,eil veut de la violence et il va faire tous ce qu'il peut pour aller au plus près de la ceinture de Champion,et même de la BMF. C'est quelqu'un de très simple. Il va aller au bout des ses limites et on verra où elles s'arrêtent.

Didn't know the great Tim Kennedy is training with BSD !! This is just awesome. So many values in common. I will never forget what Yoel Romero's corner did to Tim... who could have made Yoel's carreer look absolutely different. Big up and much respect to you fighters. War Benoit.

What a warrior, have nothing against Dustin, but Saint Denis is someone who you want to see succeed.
