That last clip is fantastic, he’s joking around with the stool and all but you can tell he can still clearly hear the crowd roaring, Bruce Buffer announcing him the champion. DC seems like a guy who truly appreciated the incredible journey he went on in this sport.

People disrespect DC because he's such a sweetheart. But his legacy is etched into the history books, and now on top of his expert grappling knowledge, his bubbly personality brings a lot of value to the team (when he's not bro-ing off with Rogan). Hope his wrestling kids will reflect an ounce of that dedication and good character!

wrong he has no title defences at heavyweight and no winning record ever since he went back there he is 2-2 there and 3 of those fights were against the same fighter and one against a journeyman bum who wasn't even at his best was injured overrated

DC defended the title against Derrick Lewis And he had wins against highest tier fighters and also fought to decisions against the best of the best. + He is loved and should be loved for his life he created for himself. From his father getting murdered on Thanksgiving when he was a kid.. to losing his daughter due to a drunk driver... yet competed in the Olympics. Winning two UFC belts. Height doesn't mean much tbh, body frame does. Look at Cory Sandhagen or O'Mally in banntamweight, they tower over nearly all lightweights yet you couldn't imagine them making 145 let alone 155.
