Pride. It's good to hear that Charlie eventually humbled himself and started to build his relationship with his brother again but damn.. they both really missed out because of Charlie's decision to not support his brother during the height of his MMA career. Chris could have easily held resentment towards Charlie for that but it sounds like he really proved he's not like his brother. It turned out that Chris was really the brothers keeper.

This was disturbing. That last video clip of them as teenagers: Charlie is walking by him and Chris literally panics and throws his hands up. Imagine living in anxiety and fear throughout your childhood. What’s even more sad is the parents laughing about the abuse while looking at pictures. Charlie was their golden boy and the son they expected would be a famous pro athlete. Parents don’t even realize they’re playing favorites - Love is blind.

Older brother sounds like a psychopath, I had 3 of them, and if they pulled that once my parents acted like parents and straightened them out fast. Charlie isn't a true Christian until he owns up for being a bully and begs for forgiveness from the Lord and his entire family. Words are only words unless they are backed up by actions and honest change...Charlie still isn't there. I also think his father should have stepped in and did more, he was weak just watching his younger son suffer.

I’ve heard about Charlie on Robert Whittaker podcast, The man never mentioned anything bad about his brother he just held that in his heart for a long long time. Consistent abuse and bullying can be severe even for the toughest of us, especially from someone who supposed to help you, but only a man like Chris can turn that darkness into lightness. I hope Chris understands that people who really know about MMA appreciate him and acknowledge how great of a fighter he is. At the end of the day he was a UFC champ who defended his belt 3x and beat one of the greatest fighter of all times, no one can take that away from no one.
