@@beaualIoevv was 19-19 going into the third, and jan was clearly winning the 3rd up to that point. idk why people act like jan didnt contribute to the injury at all. jan was the most successful in title fights since jon jones left(that's not saying a whole lot but regardless) he definitely deserves the chance to fight for the title again, who else in the division would he fight? jiri and him would be a great fight as well
Jan's a tank, man. A slow, but technical counterstriker with heavy hands and nasty kicks. Rakic is going to have his hands full.

Jan is a third degree Brazilian jujitsu black belt Jan is a great wrestler Jan has fought in the UFC and only lost to the best Jan was the UFC’s 205 Champion for a reason Last but not least Jan beat the P4P best MMA Middleweight in The World. Reyes vs Jones was so competitive that I don't see what Jones could have done against Blachowicz, we'll likely never know.

@@MrWolfchamp-xi3cu He's traditionally a muay thai fighter so he keeps his hips really square, which was fine against someone like izzy who won't try and take him down but against someone like Glover he was a sitting duck for the takedown

Reyes was never the same after losing the Jones fight, he never got over that loss. 0-4 now in his last 4 UFC fights. Reyes is finished. The Devastator is now The Devastated.
Don’t forget to drink a lot of water . Hydration is key .

Jan Blachowicz’s win over Dom Reyes was absolutely incredible, Jan with the masterclass performance and win on Fight Island back during the peak of the Covid-19 Pandemic to win the Light heavyweight championship. Good memories. 👏 👏👏

He deserved to win the belt against Jones in their fight, but the judges fucked up badly.
Reyes has the most disproportionate physical attributes for such height. Long and thin torso, short limbs.

Jan throws a lot of straight, heavy punches while crashing into his opponent. Reyes shelled up almost every time Jan did this, but he does tend to leave his chin in the air while doing so. It's how Santos caught him with a big shot while rushing in. This fight shows he's gotten much better at choosing when to employ that style of offense, but he'll have to hope Rakic doesn't exploit it.

The reason that Dominick Reyes' career could now be over is that he has one of those noses that, once it has been broken, it is REALLY EASY to be broken again, over and over, in a fight. It got broken right at 2:40 in this fight, and then Jiri Prochazka targeted his nose and broke it early in their fight.

@@nl5455 I am not an expert, but it could be a couple of things: 1) If it was never properly "re-set" after it was broken the very first time (in the case of Reyes, it was high school sports), 2) It was broken in such a way that the cartilage never "fused" with the bone the right way, so it breaks really easy.

@@wisewigga7129 Dude, Reyes was very durable, and absorbed strikes fairly well. Once his nose got broken in a certain way, that became his Achilles heel, man. Now, anyone who breaks his nose and then keeps hitting his face with strikes will beat him.

@@beaualIoevv Reyes lost ! 3:2 rounds for Jones. The last rounds was 10-8 for Jones. Gustafson also did close fight with Jones, but at the rematch he was destroyed from JBJ.

I might have been the only one that knew that Jan would beat Reyes by Round 2. I wish I had placed at bet. I knew he would beat Luke Rockhold, Jacare, Corey Anderson, Adesanya, and Jimi Manuwa. Thiago was a coin flip due to Thaigo's power at that time. As for Glover...well I had a feeling that Glover would just choke him out like he did the others.
