@@joshL28 that was years ago and yeah it was a bad take, let's let it go, yeah khabib tired himself out in round 2 and has to lessen his pace in round 3 but it wasn't conor's choice, so cruz was 50% correct

If Cruz had not been injured he would be one of the pound for pound fighters of all time. It is pretty disrespectful that a main card guy has been on so many prelim cards recently.

Most UFC viewers likely shared the same sentiment about DC's commentary prior to this, Dominic just vocalized what everyone else was thinking. His bias is clear, and his commentary is dry

The more I got to know about Dominick, the more I respected and got to like him as a human being. I truly wish the best for you Dom, and hope to see you one day hold the belt again.

Man the honesty and details he gives here just really show what fighters go through! They are all talk as if everything is perfect leading up to fights but this shows the actual psychology involved in fighting before the fight. Individual sports are even more so than team sports because there’s no one else in there to lean on. That admission of where he was after the third knee blow out and then to see him get the belt is the stuff of legend worthy of a movie and documentary one day! They better put him in the hall of fame

To this day I have not seen a style more interesting to watch then Cruz. TJ has taken alot of Doms style and made it his own, but Doms footwork is second to none. Very unorthodox movement that is off beat. The road has been rough with injuries I'm just glad we get to see that footwork again tonight. 🙏Wish him the best! Always will be in my top 5 mma fighters.

Cruz gave the best fights in UFC history. Just a pleasure to watch.

Dominick Cruz is the character you get, if you put all your attribute points into intelligence and dexterity. Hes one of my favorite fighters, so unique. I really don't understand why he isn't on the main card.

He,said that ,Thanks to his hard Injurys ,being a lone fighting so hard to come back , He understod that wining was not every thing. That is a smart person in my opinion.

yeah if you watch Cruz in his fights with his feet and ankles super taped up he is not in his best condition at all. Still fought at the highest levels and took Garbrandt's best ever performance to dethrone him.

He said we would see the vintage Dom vs Pedro, and that’s what he delivered. Legendary fighter still doing it at the top of the division.

@Seriedade XD Sanhagen was a huge test, and he passed it with flying colors. Aljo was a big test as well, and Yan was taking over that fight pretty easily. Aldo is no joke of a fight either. This hating has to stop. Yan is looking unbeatable right now. Dom is the GOAT still but Yan has the potential to surpass him

Ill never forget being only a few rows away from Dom walking out of my side's octagon gate holding the belt overhead and posing for the crowd after beating TJ.

This guy basically created his own style because it is so unorthodox. His style is so unique, his body couldn’t keep up. One of the best fighters in the UFC.

Love Dom , an all time great and a Legend...👊🙏💯

He has always been light years ahead of everyone in his movement and I have yet to see someone come close to comparing.

The injuries eventually caught up to Cruz and they didn’t at a younger age, he definitely not the same fighter he once was but for him to make adjustments in his style due to the UFC evolving shows how much of a mature fighter he is. 2014-2016 Dom finishes Kenny and probably has a 3 round master class vs Munoz.
