Dustin like a modern day Robbie Lawler. Hates media, a lovable genuine guy but can be stone cold when he needs to be. And fights like a savage

the fact that jon anik lays no traps for some "clickbaiting titles" and gives dustin respect and privacy without forcing him to answer is just great to see. i mean who says "no comment is ok too" that is soo damn refreshing to hear. this is what it really looks like when someone who cares about fighters, interviews a fighter. no baiting, no phony "journalism" tricks. it also helps that jon anik is the best hands down.

exactly. man id never thought the same dustin that lost to the first conor fighter where he was so angry for conor provoking him is this guy now. dustin is apure example of a true martial artist and someone with character learns from his mistakes. Im just so fucking impressed

How does anyone not like this guy. Poirier is such a solid dude. Seems so genuine and honest. Pairing him up with the legendary Anik felt like such a treat! You could have put this behind a pay wall and I would have shelled out for it and felt good about it after!

I take my hat off in front of this dude. Dustin Poirer is a living legend.

I could listen to anik all day, so much passion for the fight game and the voice to match. I was one of those fightville fans so the first Conor fight even though I'm Irish I was routing for Dustin and still am to this day

Dustin answering Conor as hardest puncher he's ever faced shows that he's a very honest person. Considering how Conor has acted, what he's said and done..Dustin has a massive amount of fights and most of them under the zuffa banner. So plenty of top tier fighters and he still said Conor

These guys are just built different. I'm 35, fought amateur until I was 29. Then I had neck and back surgery and it was all over. Now I'm a shell of what I was, I juries cought up to me. My genetics aren't the same as these guys. They are a special breed. I know I'm tuff, but these boys are gladiators
