This guy was and still is the only fighter in the UFC that I really enjoy watching his fights either they are wins or losses.I actually started watching UFC fights because of him ,I was more into boxing than MMA.Great style ,great fighter ,hope to see another fight someday soon.Much Respect

I became a non-fan of Frankie Edgar during that fight. The mutha fucka kept laying on him over n over. Yeah, he landed some gound n pound (but he laid on um). I like stand up.

Tommy Vercetti Dude it's part of the game man, if you have a weakness/hole in your game, expect it to be exposed to the fullest when you're fighting at that level. Fans need to realize this! I personally thought it was as exciting you can get by being on top of somebody for the majority of the fight. Watch again, Frankie was throwing nonstop ground and pound and transitioning, he was actually being active on the ground looking/opening up opportunities. He flat out dominated and I found that fight entertaining. Frankie also landed some sick combos on the feet

Chris P4- You're right. I have a bias, I prefer the stand up. The boxing aspect of mma is what is most appealing to me.

One of my favorite fighters!! He reminds me so much of Johnny Tapia. They both trained in Albuquerque, NW, both have similar upbringing. Even the way they throw a punch is similar. RIP Johnny Tapia.

I have always felt he was not just anothe MMA fighter... there is a man who has lived in darkness adn has come out to spread his light, his expiriences, with more gentlemen like that arund our fallen teens, there is still hope... Keep up the good work Swanson... we all appreciate your kindness with them...

Cub is the man !! I hope he gets back on track and get another crazy winning streak, this guy has always been exciting since WEC.

I must have missed this video before the Holloway fight, I'm glad the UFC re-posted it. It was refreshingly uncontrived, and a good way to remind people of who cub was after a nasty jaw injury, which made him consider retirement. Solid Featherweight.

Josh U Not necessarily, there has been a bunch of times where fighters hit a resurgence in their career. Sometimes things go downhill for a bit but they come back even better. Guess we'll have to see what happens with Cub

+Josh U I wouldn't call losing to two of the best guys in the division "declining". Also, there's plenty of fighters who were on a worse losing streak and came back and even became champion (just look at RDA, for example). Lastly, he's 32 so he still got a couple of years to improve and develop.
