How interesting. This is the shared story of so many in MMA but only Francis seems to be getting this kind of attention. Furthermore, his lack of character and the accusations against him from the VERY people who invested in him, believed in him and contributed to his success story being ignored is sort of jarring to me. The ability of fans of other people to completely and willingly ignore everything they don't like is interesting.

I am not the only one who have this opinion, Jairzinho Rozenstruik had stronger words on Ngannou. @@ron.hertzberg I also agree. This man has a wildly out of control ego that is detached from reality. How did Ngannou go from "I want to fight 3 to 4 times per year" in a post fight interview following his win over Stipe Miocic to demanding tens of millions of dollars to fight, stalling the division and forcing Dana to create an interim title. With two fights left on his contract, it is unprofessional, childish and in poor taste to attempt to renegotiate the contract under any circumstances. A contract which, GOT him the title in the first place. I think based on the testimony of those who've raised Francis up and his wildly unprofessional shenanigans regarding his contract... I think we can safely assume he's a clown with nuclear bombs for hands.

This guy has knocked out few of the greatest of MMA like Stipe and Cain. It's funny how easily many people are counting him out just because of one quality of Gane - Footwork. I think it's not a 70-30 fight in favour of Francis if you really think about it. If you look at the pattern of his fights, you would see that Francis is not usually afraid of taking shots and he charges forwards very good. Francis can surely take Gane's best shots but Gane would most probably not be able to take Francis' best shots.

I don't see any way that Gane wins the fight. I think Gane should be a 4:1 underdog. And it's because of the reason you mentioned, Francis is the threat, not Gane. Francis has a cast iron jaw, and has never been knocked down or rocked in any fight. If you can't really hurt Francis (nobody has) then how do you win against him? Stipe is mean and nasty, and he is one of the few people mean enough to outwork Francis. But Francis made mistakes against Stipe and he gassed out. He won't do that again. I don't see any way Gane wins, because he won't be able to cause any damage to Francis.

Gane is a very very good striker who moves around extremely well. but he hasn’t competed in high level kickboxing so ppl should slow down on his so called “world class kickboxing skills”. When he was tasked with facing Rosenstruik, who is a legit high level kickboxer according to his kickboxing career, Gane did not want to exchange. Instead Gane stalled that fight by clinching and takedowns with no significant damages caused. Hey….it’s fair game as you find the easiest route to victory, but one can also assume Gane wasn’t comfortable trading with Rosenstruik. So how good is his kickboxing skills really?

This man can expect so many children from his home country to look in the mirror and see something of worth. Something that is of true value to the world. Whereas, before the belt showed up, they felt that salt mines and can collecting was their best hope to feed their families... The audio and video is outstanding. Beautiful set, and interview style! Just awesome work. So artistic. In other news, Dana's only major failure in the last 2 years is his improper treatment of Francis Ngannou. Francis has done everything in his power to be a reliable fighter, who trains properly, and he hasn't failed any tests. Francis made some mistakes being over confident before his first Stipe fight, but he clearly leaned his lesson. Someone needs to talk to Dana and explain that Francis is a once in a generation fighter, and the UFC needs to keep Francis happy, no matter what he asks for.

@Ritalie nice comment but Francis Ego is the problem. The same mistake of being overconfident vs Stipe. He is making the same mistake again. His latest ESPN interview he said he would K.O Cyril in 2 rounds. I am a huge Francis fan but the way he is going with the negotiations with the UFC is not the way. His representation are giving him bad advice. He is still not a huge PPV draw yet. He should told defended his title a couple of times and then have that conversation with the UFC. Stating how much he makes or demanding raise in public won't go well with him in the UFC. UFC won't be forced into a co- promotion then won't gain from. Anyways can't wait for the fight.

The UFC is infamous for mistreating it's fighters. Dana is a joke, and has messed up more than once. Ngannou is right, the Interim title is bullshit. You cant actually unify it, because interim is the equivalent of the number 1 contender. You cant lose it to the champion, it's a fake ass belt, and anybody who claims to be champ with the interim belt is a FAKE ASS CHAMPION‼️💯 They should get rid of the interim belt, it's disrespectful to the Champ, Dana I trying to do a half ass boxing unification type deal, just using the words to draw people in when it's not the same thing. Dana is such a tool dude, honestly I really don't like the way his biased ass runs the company smh 🤦🏻‍♂️

@@ActionJackson669 oh yeah maybe u can do a better job than Dana. Ngannou shouldn't be angry he should be more motivated to defend his title. Sure Dana is not perfect but Ngsnnou is no saint. Its easy to look gentle and nice in front of the camera and have a different behavior immediately there are no cameras

Bruh Dana white was overhyping Francis so much before the fight with stipe to the point stipe made it personal because the champ wasn’t getting any respect from the ufc. Stipe is by far the most mistreated HW in the ufc. The ufc hates humble, blue collar guys like stipe and Francis, guys who prefer not to trash talk. That’s just Dana for you man. Even after stipe beat Francis when Dana was wrapping the belt around him stipe stopped him and gave the belt to his coach..

I have a feeling Fernand is just salty that Francis decided to improve himself as a fighter and changed gyms. Honestly Francis outgrew Fernand Lopez and that’s the way it is sometimes with a coach and his student.

@Mr DeShaun you can pass your point across without the insults. There is room for cordial different point of opinion. As for Lopez he is not salty. He exposed Francis for who he is. It's easy to look humble and genuine during interview but behind closed door ge is something different. Dana complained about his ego so does Fernand Lopez. That's not coincidence that's the truth. I like Francis but he has ego problem. Cyril is no Jake.
