This fuckin fight...Pause it at 22:45 and you can clearly see something is wrong with his right eye, blood is pouring from the other side of his face, yet he kept going. The fact this man was willing to fight multiple people, let alone such a legend as Anderson with only one eye is nothing short of fucking legendary. This isn't even mentioning all the other injuries and surgeries he's recovered from. My number one fav and definitely one of the best fighters in any combat sport, full stop. 27:08 face covered in blood, smiles with a thumbs up. Doctor asks; "Can you see?" And he just says "yeah, yeah" Guy is something else.

You can easily see how Bisping won... he stayed busy while Silva just fkd around for 3-4 mins in most rounds. Rd 1 & 2 to Bisping, Rd 3 & 5 to Silva. He hurt Bisping BAD at the end of the 4th but i can easily see why the judges gave Rd 4 to Bisping bc Silva basically leaned against the cage fkn around until 45 sec left. Both times Bisping was hurt in the 4th Silva didnt even try to finish him!

The only thing I don’t like about combat sports is the round scoring system. One fighter can look absolutely battered in the end with the other one barely touched, but if they were more active in 3 rounds they still get the win. Makes sense though because they need some way to score it. I think they should award more points depending on how one sided a round is, beyond just a 10-8.

I miss this era, especially when these guys were still in their primes. Both were beasts back in the day. That one knee literally opened up four or five cuts on Bispings face. That’s over a decade of scar tissue accumulated from a career of wars. I have never witnessed a boring Bisping fight whether he won or lost. He was one of those guys you might have started out hating, but after a few years, you just want to see him finally become a champion after getting so close so many times. Thankfully, he pulled it off by defeating 3 future HOFers in a row with one eye, and giving GSP a really good fight as well despite losing. I noticed in the GSP fight, Bisping was winning, but he couldn’t see that quick left hook GSP put on him with his damaged right eye. Once you get dropped by GSP, it’s usually over, even if you are good at getting back to your feet from the guard.

Bisping had a considerable advantage in significant strikes in rounds one (17-8), two (24-11), and four (28-19), while Silva had the knockdown in the third and battled Bisping to a near standstill in the fourth (19-18 Silva). In the second round, Bisping was credited with a knockdown. "Bisping just threw a lot more than Silva. He landed 108 of 316 significant strikes compared to Silva’s 75 of 135.
