Ronda's strenght was her judo background, she tried to strike with an strike and got ktfo. Then came back vs Nunes and got Ko'd for a second time

Still one of my favourite, well deserved kos.

Always wonder if Rhonda never quit how her career would go.

This is my favorite moment in ufc, ever. Loved it when her head popped back, you could hear her retirement with that kick. Favorite match was also females, Joana vs the Chinese girl (I just can't ever remember her name if my life depended on it), when Joana finished the match with an alien head on her shoulders and acted like it's just a normal Sunday night.

The definition of the hype going to your head, it was her biggest career challenge as of yet. She showed her pure disrespect for no reason other than she felt she shouldn't have to prove any longer that she's the best, and then Holly just picked her apart and finished her with class, and has continued to be a class act.

One thing I took away from Ronda's last two losses was that I always wondered, "Can she take a punch?" Not the best way to prove it, but she absorbed Holly's best shots over and over and over again for almost two rounds before the head kick wrapped it up. She also absorbed a vicious onslaught of punches from Nunes before the fight was mercifully stopped including that last right-hand flush on the chin that wobbled her, but she still didn't go down. Pity, as she clearly had the chin to weather the storm in pockets but her stand up game was her downfall.

Ronda was very tough,it wasn't that she was beat physically. She was outclassed and couldn't handle that. If she would have developed striking,it would have been really hard to beat her.

Had to come back to see this after 8 years.

Always show humility. No matter what, there’s always a more talented, more powerful, and more dangerous person than you. Talent isn’t static. Nobody stays at the top forever. Rhonda got waaaay too high on herself, dominating a women’s division that was still coalescing. She bought into her own hype, and instead of keeping her grounded, humble, and driven, her own coaches gassed her up to the point where she truly believed she was unbeatable and that she had conquered the need for sportswomanlike conduct and basic respect. I remember when she refused to shake hands with Mischa Taite after winning. Nobody respects a sore loser (which Taite, a professional and respectful sportswoman, was not). But as a man who grew up playing sports, *nothing* is more detestable than a sore winner. When Holmes landed that brutal kick, Rousey learned a lesson that most seven years olds learn in PE. Losing is a fact of life and a part of any sport, and should be handled with grace and respect. Ronda however, ran away like a little bitch, and hid for a year. Then she tried coming back and got steamrolled by Nunes. Instead of people celebrating her bringing women’s MMA into the spotlight, and leaving a legacy of sportsmanship and an ambassador to the sport, she stars in “the downfall of” reels, and MMA fans still excitedly chatter about how satisfying it was to see her pummeled so hard she came flying back into reality with the rest of us.
