MVP should be awarded for escaping 3 subs that’s my one gripe with the ufc they reward fighters for just laying on people you can fail takedowns and subs and not get hurt for it by judges so why is there such a thing as sufficient and insufficient strikes but not sufficient and insufficient submissions and takedowns it should definitely effect the judges decision if you can’t achieve anything taking someone down that’s just stalling at that point. control time should hurt a fighter if they’re not working towards something or causing damage not benefit them.
