Abdulmanap was such a central figure in their lives. Having a good guiding father figure can have a tremendeous impact on children upbringing. May God bless his soul. 🙏 Also big up to his boss for giving him laid leave to train and compete. 👍

I have huge respect and an equal amount of love for Islam and Charles, both share a similar story from coming from nothing. Both of these guys are role models in and out of the octagon.Let the best man win!
One of those rare times where I have all the respect for both fighters and would be happy if either of them won.
Besides he's a great fighter, Islam looks so laid back and chill, it'd be so lovely to have a conversation or hang out with him, Good luck brother💯.

Great man Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov Always trained them hard to become the man they are now Khabib Nurmagomedov, Islam Makhachev, Abubakar Nurmagomedov, Shamil Zavurob, Umar and Usman Nurmagomedov.
Islam reminds me of an Arab tribe elder with his demeanor. He measures his words.

Taekwondo,wushu ,judo , wrestling and fight sport in Olympics was most taken by Dagestani if not mistaken 18 gold Olympics medal was at Dagestan,world champ sambo..judo , wrestling also same..and khabib the first world UFC champ..he was 3 times sambo world champ same with Islam

MMA is so special because it is truly a journey from nothingness to everything. You aren't going through some top tier university sports program that gets you into the NFL or NBA. No, you are truly starting from scratch at a small gym and work your way up to the top of the world. Islam is truly one of those stories and coming from a much lesser priveledged region from a foreign country. Charles is also the same. MMA is definitely the best showcase of the hardest working athletes in the world

I wish the interviewer just asked him revealing questions about his life instead of just asking him off the bat to recite his entire life story. You don't really see that approach often and for good reason.

Most ufc translators are not the greatest lol other then a few Portuguese translators. The rest are mediocre and actually take away from most interviews and interactions because of mistranslation.
wushu or sanda? they’re different. Wushu is more for show, Sanda is close to MMA.
