I disagree, Usman wouldn’t have given Luque brain damage like Geoff Neal. Geoff teed off on him when he got him against the cage, Usman would’ve done some safe shit like shoot a double leg and take him down agains the cage. Geoff Neal striking is underrated in my opinion, dude has power.

@@waalex11 Yeah but i feel like that was due to the level of competition and the regular wear and tear of being a fighter. If Luque never got the injury from the Neal fight he wouldn't have lost to someone at Buckley's level imo.

that was perhaps one of the worst take down attempts I've ever seen.

I mean, I won't be quick to call any MMA Fighter a quitter. But I don't know how else to describe what happened in this fight. Obviously Buckley is really in a groove right now but Luque trying to pull guard and just turtling up afterwards sure makes it seem like he gave up.
