I wouldn't be proud of a guy struggling with cans and hugging them the whole fight. He barely survived that last moment when the opponent got his knee.

The truth is that he was lucky that jafel is a pastor and has a good heart, I'm sure that jafel didn't want to break his leg, because he simply gave up a position that was 98% fit, if it was any other fighter he would continue forcing that leg, Rosimar Palhares for example would take that leg home, but jafel preferred not to end mlk's career.

Fighters that are built different are not struggling with cans. Whole fight was boring except last minute of the fight. And that Mokaev guy wants to be youngest champ when he is struggling with cans😂

@@rodrigo4188 Yes, Palhares was banned from the UFC for not stopping a fight when his opponents tapped. And Jafel is a good guy. However, I wonder if it was wise by Mokaev not to tap by having his knee bent in the opposite direction. I hope he doesn't sustain permanent damage.

You're right, good analysis. However Muhammad himself said that he was not In a good mood mentally because his shoulder was injured, infact only some days before the fight he couldn't even put his shirt on by himself, he needed help to do such a thing. So the fact that he showed up to the fight is already unbelievable, let alone winning with a submission!! Of course he wasn't as sharp as always...

I knew this guy before the UFC and was sure he would be Champ. First i admired his calmness and focus in the lock but from what i have read. I don't think he will never be the same ... Just to prove a point 🙃 and become the youngest Champion . It's over for him 😳 He damaged/tore all 4 major ligaments in his knee. Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) Posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) Medial collateral ligament (MCL) Lateral collateral ligament (LCL) And have a shoulder operation soon.
