Dude trained with Tyson Fury in boxing for nearly 2 years, there's a lot of photos and footage of it idk why they would leave it out of his origin story. Actually I know why, it's because the reason he went over to boxing was because MMA was letting him down at a regional level in terms of progressing his career, and it would look bad for the UFC to show this, misses a chunk of his life but whatever makes the sport look good I guess.

@@JustBerty i think he's the opposite of a hype train. This guy has gotten 4 quick finishes in his short UFC career, he has sick boxing and probably the best HW jiu jitsu. Nevertheless we haven't heard his name in any discussions for the title in the future until now (now that they try to build him up for this card)

@Boxing Mind Yea, not sure if he will be beaten, Cyril wasnt beaten either. But Ngannou have superhuman strenght and will probably be able to man handle him to like he did Cyril. But we will see, I think Tom have a better chance to sneak a sub in there too. But first he have to get past Volkov

One more fight after that and he’ll be ping for a title unless they really wanna push him which is also possible

Tom aspinall is the real deal. Very impressive hand speed explosiveness and move very well. That being said, I love that out of all people, a 42-43 year old Andrei Arlovski gave Tom his most competitive and longest bout in the UFC so far. Also a great submission by Tom in that fight. I love Arlovski and always seem to win win money whenever I bet on him, or Glover Teixeira.

these 2 future ufc heavyweights, Gane and Aspinall..

In 2012 I used to do Muay Thai at a club and Tom and his Dad would be waiting for us to finish to do their BJJ class in Golborne (Also the home of Davey Boy Smith the British Bulldog). I remember him from back then, blinked and now he's nearly the UFC champ.

Tom reminds me a little bit of Robert Whittaker,respectful and always fun to watch. Definitely a future title contender.

I agree. Aspinall is a life long fighter, Gane started combat sports at 24. The fact that he is as good as he is is already incredible in itself.

*Tom Aspinall definitely has the best chance at winning the belt of all English fighters.* Till needs to stop training hard he keeps injuring himself. Stick to 70% and go for volume. Paddy needs to work on his stand up a lot. He should try to partner up with Izzy, Volkanovski, Hooker etc. They would be a good mesh and help each other bring out the best in their skills.
