I’ve watched Shavkat since his M1 days but unfortunately Wonderboy is a bad matchup for Shavkat. WB will most likely finish him by the 2nd round. Shavkat will have time to bounce back his young.

I really love this fight and i think it’s probably the fight im looking forward to the most. This is a tricky fight for Shavkat as Wonderboy has been difficult for everyone to face. Shavkats best solution is obviously to take this fight to the ground. Final PPV & card of the year and it’s stacked! 🔥🔥

You're probably right about the best option to fight for Shavkat is to take WB down to the ground, but the one aspect why I love in Shavkat is not his technical abilities but rather mental part. He really likes to beat people at their own game. I really think that Shavkat originally wanted to box with Geoff N. and outperform him in boxing style. But as he said in the interview, he will adapt as fight goes on.

I don’t think this is as easy a fight as I see a lot of people making it out to be. I’m taking WB as the underdog. My mind still tells me Shavkat wins, but I see WB’s striking and speed being a problem for him. Shavkat doesn’t move his head and WB is precise. Gonna be interesting.

Have to dissapoint you here. Kazakhs are not fully asian. Kazakhs belong to the Sothern Siberian race that combines both asian and european features.(You could have googled it) So even when Shavkat is a double or tripple UFC Champion you will still have to wait for a fully asian UFC Champ. May be it will be Tatsuro or Lee Jin Liang.😊

Absolutely love Wonderboy. It's gonna be hard seeing him lose vs Rakhmonov. Gonna be an amazing fight.

Its only 3 rounds, i think this could be a huge factor. Shavkat is the favourite of course & rightfully so. But if wonderboy out points Shavkat in rounds 1 & 2 by fighting a safe points stratergy, avoiding take downs & not getting into exchanges all by keeping at distance. Round 3 is gonna be very, very interesting.
