This rivalry was what made people interested in women's MMA. Really wasn't a whole lot of trash talk and beef between female fighters before then. And you could really see how much the sport has evolved just over the last decade in these stand-up exchanges. The top of the division has gotten so much more crisp and technical.

No way. Ronda would be destroyed by most of the women fighting in the UFC today. She reminds me of Royce Gracie. Great practitioner of jiu-jitsu but not great in anything else. Can't be one dimensional in this sport anymore. Ronda refused to learn how to box properly. She should have fired her coaches.

I’ve always been amazed at how her elbow dislocated but she still fought for so long. The resiliency is unmatched

Ronda's judo is absolutely amazing. As an Olympic Silver Medalist in Judo she's too solid for women to attempt to get into grappling situations with her early in a match. Especially when they don't have to because her weakness by FAR is that she is not a good striker and doesn't take strikes very well. Miesha should have kept it standing.

Honestly, the fight was pretty good. Ronda has done really well and I’m glad she’s pursuing her dreams. Watching her wins, and how amazing her Judo is, is fantastic. Even though she could have done better, she still did outstanding.

Coaching on TUF started Ronda's downfall imo. She tried to act intimidating and tough but it came off super cringe and rude, which why people started turning on her. Starting from this fight with Miesha, a lot of fans just wanted to see Ronda get humbled, and when it did finally happen, it was so satisfying fr.

Ronda had such nice tight throws and transitioned so fast to the armbar. You could tell she had noodle punches though, when she hit Miesha on the ground Miesha was having a chuckle.
