I've had my eye on him for a long time now, and he's easily one of my favorite fighters. I've been to Almaty, the people there are solid as stone. I am 100% behind this kid. Go get 'em Shavkat! Don't be surprised if you see a LOT of people ducking this guy.

His celebration after the fight is just having some meals with his fans and family. No party, no alcohol, and stay halal. Similar to those other Kazakh, Dagestani and Chechen fighters when they celebrate their wins. Mashaallah walhamdulillah.
Impressive fighter. Can’t wait to see what he can do against top 5 fighters. I wish he’d learn to speak english tho so he can be more marketable and then the UFC would have no reason to not give him a bigger spotlight and title shot

Geoff Neil hit him with a clean combo, slipped shavkats uppercut and countered with 3 hooks that almost dropped him. Was one of the cleanest combinations ive seen in the octagon. Hats off to Shavkat, took it to neil from the get go and bought out the best of each other

You’ve never cut weight, I wouldn’t make assumptions because you never know what can happen to make that brutal process even worse. Also his takedown defense was extremely good, doesn’t mean he was scared. It didn’t end up mattering anyway for either thing as Shavkat is way too good but you just hating

Good fighter, solid victory. I'd like to see him work on his striking and defense though. Zero head movement and drops his hands after throwing strikes leaving himself open.
