Thats Liverpool. Im not from there but support the football team and go to Anfield yearly. Its the closest, tight nit city ive been to. They will call you out for not being a local, purely from you socks.

If he wants to do charity, then good on him. I both applaud and endorse it. If he wants to be a fighter, I will judge him by his fights. Either way, I’ve seen little to get fired up about as of yet.

Yeah that was such a nice thing. And he's right, Conor McGregor should really be doing things like that considering how much money he has and the problems the area has where he grew up. Unfortunately Conor is only interested in his own well being and that's it.

Two professional athletes who are at the top of their field, seeing them walk around like two over weight lager louts who live for the weekend is endearing and why I personally root for them in every fight. Also they appear to be so in touch with normality. Paddy's post fight win speech over Leavitt was the best show of sportsmanship I have witnessed in some time. He is a class act through and through and I tip my hat to the good sir 👏👏

Never been a ufc fan until i saw these two. Now im watching all these cards. Molly and paddy are entertainment, how can you not cheer for them

I hope to see them both succeed for years to come. I love the positive attitudes, the giving back to their community. These are real, good celebrities.

Their bond is the most wholesome thing I've seen in a while, love how they back each other, and like other comments said, love that they are community minded. How rare is that with celebrities?

One thing I love about the fighting arts is the genuine humility, a hunger to learn and to put something back. This interview shows exactly that. What fantastic guy the coach is too. Big kudos to all!

He’s the biggest thing to come out of Liverpool since the Beatles and he deserves every bit of it! Finally the world is getting a taste of what scouser’s are like, they’re genuinely some of the friendliest, funniest people in Britain and they’ll talk you’re ear off if you let them.

been watching Paddy and Molly for years, it's nice that the rest of the world now get to see what we've been seeing for ages. These two represent our city perfectly.

I've never especially been a fan of any UFC-type fighting; I've watched the odd McGregor fight and enjoyed a few recommended ones, too, but the massive egos, forced bravado, self-aggrandizing rants and fake bravado were a tremendous put-off. A few weeks ago, I came across the "doorbell video" of this embarrassed-looking, apologetic scouse lad asking for a bucket of soapy water to clean up the enormous but wet dump his dog had taken on someone's grass. That's when _I_ discovered Paddy "The Baddy" Pimblett, and I'm hooked! I've _NEVER_ seen a more genuine, down-to-earth, thoughtful, honest, caring gentleman and all-around nice guy; juxtaposed with such a brutal sport, where he's a true talent and rising star. I get the impression that he doesn't feel the need to display much of an ego, and most of his rhetoric is piss-taking banter. His pre-fight "smack-talking" last night had me in stitches, and he was the _only_ one to be smiling, joking and shaking hands at the "stare-off". I love listening to him waffle on with himself and seeing his silly antics, and I enjoy watching him do his stuff in the eight-sided ring even more. All this might sound like high praise, but it's well-deserved, and this is coming from a born and bred Manc!!! 😛

Totally agree that is the one thing that really caught my attention even though people we hear people say things all the time and most people say things for the sake of saying things. But just the way Paddy said it you can feel it’s something that matters to him and he means it. It’s great how him and Molly have been trying to help there community long before they started getting all of this attention. Wishing them all the success for the future. 👌🏼

We have united enough as a city as we only have scousers who will back scousers. It’s sort of a “us against the world” mentality. I hate saying that but it’s the best way to describe it. No city is united enough as Liverpool in my opinion. We’re all on the same wave length. It’s why we all have the same political views. And views on other things in fact. We boycotted the sun newspaper from our city. Never be sold again in the in the lands of the pool. We love scousers. But don’t get me wrong. If you don’t have any outdated stereotypes against us. And treat us fairly. We will back you until the end. But if you go against us for stupid lies and stereotypes. We will hate you forever and let you know about it
