Tony is the type of guy we'll always support because he shows us how to keep going with a great state of mind, no matter what struggles you may encounter. The unfair way he was treated by the UFC and the fact he still gives props to them are part of what makes him such a legend.

@@greendream4437 it’s just a little more lean mass from eating more and feeling better to train. It’s unrealistic to put on pounds of muscle that quick. 170 is just more of a natural frame for Tony as a listed 5’11. He’s the same height of Colby Covington. Tony was a big lightweight but he was just so low like in the single digit body fat at 155 and I believe it had effects on him we could see and didn’t see as weight cutting does usually.
@brownjatt21

@@greendream4437 you don't really gain thay much muscle that quick. Unless you're a beginner starting out lifting. Like an average number after a year of lifting would be maybe 5-6 lbs of solid lean muscle. But for every pound of muscle you hold a lb of water so you'd gain like 10-12 lbs naturally.

Sure he is quirky asf, he is sometimes moody as a mfer and especially for mma journalist I’m sure interviewing him is scary but idk, I don’t see him as polarizing. Sean O’Malley is polarizing, Colby, Conor, you know guys like that. You either reallllly really like love and Stan for them, or you like realllly really hate them. Tony is more like the Diaz brothers, everyone just loves the guy whether he’s winning or losing, people mostly always root for him regardless of who he’s fighting and he could have 4 losses in a row and people still love and cheer the guy on and it’s just like Diaz. I mean Chimaev like O’Malley or paddy is one of the biggest up and comer contenders and draws right now and he has a lot of fans, a lot of haters as well but even though a lot of people aren’t pulling any punches or expecting Chimaev to lose or get dominated, as much fans and love as Chimaev has mostly everyone wants to see him lose and only because they want to see Diaz win, and give that last F U to the ufc and it’s because people love this sort of defiance that someone like the Diaz brothers or ferguson have

Given how much damage he's taken in the cage it's surprising how coherent and articulate he is
"I was going too fast the color faded" Tony with the slick comments as always

I really want to see old school Tony Ferguson!!!!! He was the only fighter that I think could have beat Khabib back then.

Given that Khabib was still improving his game and was no where near his peak at that time I'd say it's definitely possible.
