This dude started late in his early 20s from over dosing on heroin he turned his life around. Got invited to fight a local champ without any form of training and won. Started fighting before he even trained. From almost dying from an overdose to challenging and fighting against high class fighters and him being one. Salute 🙌

Seeing Matt Brown go from a barely 0.5 fighter and probably one defeat away from being released from the UFC to a top fighter in a number 1 contender fight has been one of the best memories I have from the time I been following the sport, his career comeback was remarkable, I guess it was fitting that the one who defeated Brown in that #1 contender fight was Lawler who was in his own epic comeback.

Brown vs jordan mein is my favorite. That san Jose card was insane. The amount of big names is crazy. Yoel Ramiro was the 1st fight of the card haha Should say enough. Plus there was like 8 or 9 finishes. Brown was a 4-1 underdog and we had all the money on him. Him winning meant the entire trip and front row seats was free
