@@aims32 Actually it does, having a good athlete and fighter is largely thanks to their coaching. Take a look at what Trevor Wittman has done with Rose, Justin and Kamaru. If we're talking about the TUF season, clearly Miesha was not a bad coach considering her fighters won. Ronda beat Miesha because Miesha had poor fight IQ and didn't realize she was having success against her on the feet. In any case Ronda was completely outclassed and outmatched by Holly and Amanda, who didn't evolve because of her idiot yes-man of a coach.

@@madgavin7568 Okay I get what you're saying but you also cant expect to get a fighter who has trained their whole lives and expect their successes or failures to be because of one coach of a few weeks. I'ts all about the early development. I agree with Trevor Wittman developing his athletes but 1) they train for YEARS under him and 2) they also have to have that raw talent and it factor which is something embedded in them BEFORE coaching. Trust me, I'm a national level coach lol. Not in MMA but still.

Fans had all this bullshit about how Ronda could outbox Floyd Mayweather and beat guys like Cain Velasquez (thank Joe Rogan for that) shoved down their throats. She was arrogant enough to buy into all this hype and when reality came crashing down on her like a ton of bricks, she couldn't take it and refused to take the blame. Holly on the other hand is still relevant and liked by fans, plus her 'fall from grace' isn't quite the same as Ronda's or nearly as bad. She was winning the fight against Miesha until she got caught in a hail Mary submission from her, Valentina is one of the most skilled WMMA fighters ever and her fight with GDR is fraught with controversy because of GDR's cheating. No shame in losing to Cris Cyborg or Amanda Nunes either. Also, Holly takes losing like a champ unlike Ronda.

As a rock climber I can assure you this climb is very beginner level (5.6), nowhere even near advanced level (5.11 - 5.12) or Olympic level (5.13+)

Damn Ronda and Melisha’s rivalry was the best! As was Joanna’s and Rose. Wish there was more rivalry like this today. The ufc needs to reignite Amandas and Valentinas rivalry again if they want to make more money and if they want more eyes on the women’s divisions!! They can also do Germaine vs Holm 2!! Lots of ways to have more rivalry’s!
