UFC 178 Embedded: Vlog Series - Episode 3

Спорт

On episode #3 of UFC 178 Embedded, the fighters arrive in Vegas and assemble at the MGM Grand. The close quarters create tension when opponents Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier cross paths and exchange words in the lobby. Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone discusses his legacy with the media, while UFC champ Demetrious Johnson, challenger Chris Cariaso and women’s bantamweight Cat Zingano talk about weighty issues with site coordinator Burt Watson. UFC Embedded is an all-access, behind-the-scenes video blog series focusing on the days leading up to the UFC 178 Pay-Per-View event headlined by the flyweight title bout between Demetrious Johnson and Chris Cariaso on Saturday, September 27th.

Because Dustin is emotionally invested. If you care you will be affected. You have to learn how to not care. It's all about your mindset. All psychological. Conor is the Alpha. Dustin is the Beta.

Conor oozes self belief and swagger. He doesnt miss an opportunity to establish his dominance. Poirier couldnt handle the stare down and had to leave; poor guy looked frightened as fuck. People might think Conor is arrogant and disrespectful to his opponents but in reality he is engaging in psychological warfare with everyone in the featherweight division. At this stage a fight with Conor is bigger than a title shot.

Him staying there wouldn't have accomplished anything. Conor has already gotten under his skin, which is pretty obvious. It would only have become worse. Dustin is also a very emotional guy. He puts everything he has into this. He gets very bumped down when he doesn't live up to his own expectations. The Fightville documentary and his interview with Ariel after the Korean Zombie fight gives some pretty good insight into his character. While I don't see him winning this I'm still rooting for him. He's another opponent tailor suited for Conor's style. I recommend watching that documentary. After that you cannot but root for him

John Moran McGreggor has bad habits with his hands low that works against scrubs but it may very well be his downfall Saturday. Rewatch McGreggor fight with Max .. he couldn't put Max away because Max fights smart similar to Dustin but Dustin is packing more power. I think Dustin is going to play it a little safe in round one and pick counters and open up in 2nd but who knows.. I can see it going either way it is a great match up. McGreggor was right when he said he is the main event tho hah..

I bet they cut out alot of Cat Zingano scenes which is what I want to see, as well as other good stuff in these episodes that don't get fit in! Still great and of course Cat Zingano is in great ass shape, very much love that in all the female fighters. The explosiveness possible in all of the matchups combined is unbelievably high, just what you would expect from the UFC! Seriously no one losses on this night its gonna be FIREWORKS!

Dustin is broken already, when hes in the presence of conor hes stuck for words in shell shock then when hes on his own his balls descend and he manages to think of something to say.

The irony of him saying "he's new to this game" when he's the the one that fell into the trap. Conor wants to win and he will.

Poirier, my friend, I'm afraid it'll be you that will be doing the learning. McGregor has already broken you mentally. You will come in swinging like a windmill barely moving your head off the centre line like you usually do, full of unwanted emotions, and you will eventually crumble. Good luck to both fighters. Truly a fan of both, but McGregor is proving to be "PHENOMENAL", as he loves to say

I'm with the Connor band wagon, funny interviews, great self confidence and great fights. I wan't to see Connor winning as much as loosing. Imagine a post fight interview after a loss. Connor needs to get fathered.

Dustin has broken already. Conor already has him right where he wants him. To all those that dislike Conor for being that way that he is...your reasoning is right there. His opponents fight with rage which is to his advantage. And he's climbed the rankings twice as fast as other fighters because he sells fights. Hate all you want but the boys got the talent and the charisma to be a superstar.
