I like watching these because of Aldo's friend haha. Makes the world of a difference having a good friend go with you to a new city.

I like Aldo, but the closer we get to the fight the more I believe McGregor will finish him. CM has the body of a small 155er while Aldo isn't much bigger than Barao. That combined with Aldo not looking amazing vs Mendes makes me think we're in for another Dillashaw/Barao type of fight.

If you really think about it though, Conor isn't even a small lightweight. Hes 5'9 with a 74 inch which is average if not a little bit above average even for lightweight. His overall bodytype wouldn't be small for the lightweight division either. He would probably come in a little bit heavier on fight day too since he wont have to cut as much weight. And I agree, Aldo is fucked. Everything Conor is saying is the truth. Aldo has 1 legit finish, often loses the later rounds, and comes out of the fights looking like he's been in a car wreck. Conor has 4 legit finishes, completely dominates every opponent, and never walks away with a scratch. Aldo fanboys are in for a rude awakening.

Lets not forget that He destroyed Urijah Faber, Mark Hominick, Kenny Florian, and beat the hell out of Frankie Edgar who hasn't been knocked out and has only ever lost to champs, a huge 155er that he took to a close decision. All that said its obvious that Aldo is a monster and to claim he will be beaten easily is just idiotic

Dreamlife for me. Ufc assure a galmorous life for fighters. Its amazing. I always dreamt of being there, but this Embedded is cool, because i can feel like ufc star for a minute!.

I'm not a big fan of either fighter, so this is an unbiased opinion. McGregor may be a huge draw and bring in money, but from a fighting aspect, I feel Aldo has the upper hand. If you compare the competition both fighters have faced, McGregor's opponents don't even compare to Aldo's. I look at it in the same light of Jones vs Cormier. Cormier is a great fighter, but just didn't have the experience and wasn't at the same level as Jones. We'll see how the fight goes, I just feel McGregor is being overhyped. I can't wait to see if I'm wrong.

You should go through his career and watch all his fights. Once you really see the technical aspect of his abilities and the confidence in his movement it is incredibly hard to not have some faith in this guy. I think its going to be the hardest fight of his life, but for some reason I am sold on his victory. I still think Aldo has a huge chance of winning, though I have to say my odds are 60/40% for Conor. Maybe even slightly hire, despite how crazy it sounds. We'll find out on fight night though.

Phil C "anyone can look amazing fighting mediocre fighters" not Aldo. He couldn't even finish Hominick let alone Ricardo Lame-ass. Fighters like Anderson, Liddell or Penn finish people whether they're mediocre or legends. Conor will prove in July that he's in that same class of the legendary finishers.

Aldo is probably the favorite but McGregor is not too far behind - I like that UFC fights are quite unpredictable too, there are huge upsets sometimes just due to one big punch or kick.

Anyone who has actually watched UFC or MMA in general knows Aldo is going to win, most of the people who think McGregor is going to win just started watching because of the McGregor hype.
