    McGregor wasn't running, Nate's got 25lbs on Conor and was non stop trying to hug and clinch his much smaller oponent. Conor out smarted him and didn't allow the bigger man to smother him.

    He doesn't have 25lbs on him he has between 10-15 pounds on him tops... Lol, people think Nate's heavier because his body all the weight is up top, but look at his legs compared to Conor... and Conor just has stamina issues that are mental, he seems to go fine for 1.5 rounds under a calm pace but when the pressure builds and Conor doesn't get his way and it becomes competitive that's when he starts to fade out, this time he was able to find spots to rest and recover.

  • @Dodobyer

    @Dodobyer

    +OldSkoolBoxingg His fatigue is not mental. That sounds ridiculous. He has some of the cleanest fuckin boxing in MMA. That kind of precision and technique takes energy. The Diaz brother are different because they throw lazy fists. Nothing wrong with that just a different use of energy.

    Thats still a lot of weight. He fought a smart fight and had just snuff in the tank to finish. In the fighting world i think thats called being smart. Why push when you know you've got more rounds? What good would it serve him to blow his wad? He fought a smart tactical fight. Cant blame a man for using his ability and brains. What planet do you come from?

    UFC needs to change the definition of "significant strike". I mean nate diaz with 166 "significant" strikes is laughable. a well timed jab should not count the same as a haymaker or hook. conor was landing bombs. people need to stop bringing up significant strikes to justify a nate diaz win

  • @bornwithoutwarning

    @bornwithoutwarning

    It's true, Nate wasn't landing many hard strikes. He just doesn't have heavy hands. Conor does. Nate threw a lot of punches in the 3rd but did little damage. There's a reason.

McGregor is honest but respectful and even shows humility at one stage haha....Unlike Nate who complained, denied he lost, made numerous excuses about prior injuries and claimed a conspiracy....look at their faces and tell me who won, Nates hits were soft and unsubstantial. Great fight, pity about the losers post fight attitude. Also to all you idiots claiming Nate actually won...if you check the top 10 MMA websites all voted Mcgregor won. get a grip

Conor clearly dominated round 1 and 2 (Diaz knocked down twice, Conor never got wobbled but the so-called "stupid" fans saw the high-volume weak punches from Nate and were amazed even though it didnt do shit). He then went on to win round 4. It's all clear.

    But it's human psychology to think that the guy who finished strong won the round. If you swap the first 2.5 mins with the last 2.5 mins, then it easily goes to Conor. When judging a round you must cut your emotions. Conor won the exchanges most of that round and knocked Diaz down twice. Nate set himself up for a successful Round 3 with the end of Round 2. Conor then tried to Survive round 5 knowing he won 3 rounds (Nate won round 5)

    The point is Nate almost ended Conor. Those punches that dropped Nate 3 times he was in no danger, and wasn't rocked. He was perfectly fine. One of the knockdowns hit his shoulder. When Conor went back to his corner he was wobbly and all over the place. That's the difference right there.

    Doesn't matter, Nate should have finished Conor before they went for their 1-minute rest...Must not assume that If there was more time on the clock at the end of a round, Nate would win! Or, "if the fight was 10 rounds, Nate wins! Just doesn't work like that.

If the tables were turned and we switched roles in this fight and Nate was the one running away like a bitch and getting dominated for the last 3 rounds you idiots would be crying your asses off about how Diaz is a pussy and he can't handle McGregor. As an honest, unbiased MMA spectator, the decision could have going either way on a split and both cases could be argued. That was so close to a draw if I've ever seen one. However you can't use facial damage as a factor in deciding the fight; that's amateurish. The Diaz brothers scar very, very easily and frequently, too. It's nothing new.

    Rooted for Diaz too, and had it 3-2 in rounds in McG's favor. And I agree with what he says in this video, that round 1 might have been a 10-8 round. So let's review. Nate Diaz wasn't even in the title DISCUSSION before his first fight with Conor. He beats Conor in the first fight and gives Conor all he can handle in a very close second fight. To all you Conor fans, this does not say very much about your hero. Think of how the MMA world regarded Nate before that first fight. Nobody cared about him. Then he became a nightmare for Conor. Imagine what will happen when Conor faces much better fighters than Nate.

    For Conor to come out with that win is just unreal. The amount of pressure on him, nobody in the history of the UFC has ever been through such pressure. The opponent was larger and more durable and he is a Diaz. This fight was for Conor's legacy, not just another fight.....and he pulled through. #suprisemotherfuckers

    yeah and you could tell from all the running he did for his life after the 2nd round. He barely won this fight and was fortunate that the 2 judges gave him the close 4th round. RDA ripped Diaz apart in their last fight and Conor could barely survive and was afraid to ground and pound Diaz when he got rocked lol. Good fight, but this was more of a win for Diaz than Mcgregor. He's got the tap out finish while MCgregor got the win off of time expiring (Barely at that). Haven't seen this much running in a long time. Did more bad than good.

    Let's just show these guys some respect man. I thought Diaz won the fight but when i think about it again, none of Diaz's punches had any power behind it and all he was doing was waiting for Conor to tire out and on top of it looked like got hit by a truck. I give Conor respect for going forward the whole match, don't want to worry about the 5 times he walked away, it's a reset and lots of fighters do it....of course it's under a microscope when conor does it but whatever.

    We're all incredibly proud of you boy. We stuck by you and defended you even when when 99% of the MMA world shut you down. We knew that last fight had a weird vibe to it. You came into this one cold and calculated... looking like a fucking serial killer inside the octagon. You CLEARLY won rounds 1, and 2... won 4 as well. Anyone contesting the decision just need to go revise the judging criteria real quick. What an absolute animal. Piked Nate apart and when it was time to stand and bang with the much bigger man you fucking dug your heels in and didn't get knocked down. Takdown defence? You got it. Chin? You got it. Heart? You fucking got it. We're a small nation, but from time to time we produce athletes like this man. Took everything Nate had... on the feet and in the clinch and got his hand raised. Conor McGregor there's no doubting your talent anymore my son.

    Conor showed us that he really has a warrior's heart. He still has to work on his cardio if he's going to keep taking fights like this. The fact that he worked a lot to improve his ground game will only help him in the future even though they didn't do ground fighting in this match until the very end and Conor was exhausted. I really enjoyed the fight. Didn't think it would go 5 rounds and I expected Nate to win. Well done, Conor.
