I doubt it was staged. He cut some of the best promos in WWE history. He had to deliver speeches(they call them promos in the WWE) every week. Some wrestlers do get scrips but they're very light and they also suck. Punk went off the head which is why he's 1 of the biggest draws in WWE. You gotta give credit to those wrestlers, their ability to talk is crazy. Than again, that's what separates a good wrestler from a bad one.

That fight was a little uncomfortable to watch. Under no circumstances should this fight have even been sanctioned, thank goodness Gall wanted to be punctual and professional about the situation because if another fighter with a bad attitude was in there with Punk he'd be in the hospital.

They all say that, for one reason, to make people watch. We as humans have some morbid satisfaction from watching two other guys beat the holy hell outta one another. So you want more people to watch, you want more people to pay to see it, so you talk some trash you make people think its gonna be great. I mean remember the "Fight of the Century" the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight? I remember all those famous boxers, talking beforehand, all of them saying it'd be a brutal, bloody fight and look what happened? Both of them ended up with hardly a scratch. Before matches everyone bigs it up and trash talking is just a way of bringing in more money. Gall simply said that to hype it up and then when he saw Punk was way out of his depth and had made a mistake he had pity and held back a bit. If he wanted to he could've seriously hurt Punk. However I do think if Punk had not charged in like he stupidly did, he might've gotten a few good hits in.

ProtossExecutor100 The UFC is not a BJJ COMPETITION it's Mixed Martial Arts, that's what makes it so unpredictable. To think that fights should be make on their similarities is just foolish. You might as well just watch a Bjj, boxing, or judo. Different fighters bring different martial arts to the UFC and being an actor is not one of them.

Last I checked M.Gall only had 3 pro fights (ONLY 1 UFC) prior to that fight.... so I think it's safe to say that they're both beginners. They're obviously not going to match ANY BEGINNER with someone who has 5+ straight wins, cause there's a big chance that's a guaranteed loss. Not as humiliating as CM punks though 😂😂😂. He was just there for PPV sales

Yeah true, but you forgot the part where guys don't just go pro right out of the gym. They have amateur matches first then go to the UFC. Gall not only had a brown belt in BJJ but two pro fights prior and is younger. So yes, it was a mismatch.

He also was an NCAA Division I Champion. The guy was a beast. CM Punk ? He has *nothing* except for his WWE resume... on top of that, he's old (37)

Everybody is talking shit about cm punk but honestly the only reason why 203 did so well was cause of him. This video has like 17,000 views right now and the others have 7,000 to 5,000 views. End of the day he's getting a big paycheck for promoting this pay per view because let's be honest without punk this card would have not even done as well as it did. And 203 will be known as cm punk debut/ loss and nothing more

***** that's because brock lesnar was an NCAA division 1 national wrestling champion at heavyweight...he had, at least in my opinion, a very limited game. That one thing he was really good at though just so happens to be the most important skill to have. If you are the superior wrestler then nine times out of ten you can decide where you'd like the fight to take place. On the ground if you don't feel comfortable with the striking and vice versa. Punk didn't even know how to throw a jab much less complete a single or double leg takedown... It was something people wanted to see and pay for because of who he is...not because of his skill level. So I politely disagree. He didn't "deserve" to be in there. He didn't bleed like the rest to get a main card spot and get paid half a million in the process. Punk deserves to fight in the ufc as much as Justin Bieber does...he has no experience but try and tell me you wouldn't wanna pay to watch the Biebs get smashed lol same thing man...
