Cloudlop Because after every upset or fight that doesn't go the odd makers way, you basically have to prove you're not a casual for not being able to predict such an unpredictable sport. People should be celebrating Cody's win over Dom. But the people who yell out "casual" after the victory like it was some foregone conclusion are almost downplaying the achievement. Cody accomplished something very few have been, or will be able to do lastnight. It was 100% an upset and should be treated as such.

I noticed it when I saw him on ultimate fighter that he got heart combine that with the fastest, most powerful hands in the division, not even talking about his wrestling and insane boxing style head movement. I'll be the first to hold my hands up and say he trash talked the wrong person in the sense that dom is well spoken and clearly is educated, talking all these numbers. Numbers don't mean shit Cody giving out Ls line up lads😂✌

ya i said the same thing, i could tell cruz's boxing skill was pretty bad, garbrandt was a lot more composed. Those amateur boxing fights and experience really in my opinion works very well in MMA, were seeing now more and more dominant strikers keeping it on the feet, the ufc is getting interesting as the levels get better

Am I the only one not surprised Cody beat Cruz? I said it after the almeida fight he's gonna fight for that belt within the next year and he did. He picked Cruz apart. Cruz had a good fight but Cody dropped him like 3 times and could have finished if he didn't fucking showboat and he even made Cruz punch air a lot. Lol it was a solid performance.
