It is about damaging the footwork of the opponent so they can hit them in the face and body easier. Only kicking someones legs and not doing anything with it is unimpressive and should not win anyone fights.

When you need to argue how much you hurt your opponent immediately after the fight, that says something about your performance, I don't need to be an MMA fighter to determine this, it is clear as day to anyone who uses logic. Yoel didn't leave on a stretcher, the dude even danced some Salsa in the post fight press conference. Izzy was just trying to excuse his cowardice in the octagon by claiming he did alot more damage than he actually did.

Please stop it. Fighters when they are training are supposed to run 10 k everyday. And by the way 10 k everyday day is what you do to train for a marathon. So you mean Romero with the stamina of a marathon runner. Did not have what it takes to hunt down Israel cut the cage (so there is no escape). So that he could pound the hell out of Israel. Dana told Romero that he didn't deserve a title shot and this was his last opportunity. And all he did was stand there complaining like a child 😂. I guess he didn't want the title or else you sacrifice everything to win. It is a challengers job to prove that he deserves a title shot. It is a challengers job to do whatever it takes to win that belt. Romero didn't do any of those things.

Soccer Star Studios Romero is not the champ. Why would u stand still and expect someone to run at you so u can counter strike. His gameplan was obvious. Izzy threw leg kicks to open Romero up and get him to engage but he only did a couple of times in the fight. Romero never tried to do anything in the fight and got mad at Izzy lol. If u trying to get the belt, then u need to be the aggressor. I can’t stand all these casuals who don’t know what they’re watching complaining like Izzy was the reason the fight went the way it did.
