As if other fighters could use this as a blueprint and have good wrestling and stamina. To have this level of ground control you gotta have been a good wrestler all the way to college. That's like saying Ngannou or Khabib showed the blueprint and exposed other fighters. Not like others can imitate Francis striking power or Khabib's takedowns.

The stress and emotional and physical pain Masvidal was going through at that particular moment only needed words of encouragement, not about how “you lost bro” type stuff. Give it a week or so, and THEN they’ll sit down and say “hey, we lost that one fair and square, but let’s get back to work and get better”. That’s what real friends do, and that guy was just being a true friend at that particular moment in time.

3:25 THIS. Jorge needs to STOP hanging out with Yes Men. Jorge got mauled, his takedown defense was overwhelmed and he needed to do better distance management with octagon control. Granted you cannot say that right after a fight but you don't delude the guy either. Jorge needs to be with people that tell him the truth.

@@SphericaI solid fight but I don’t think anyone really won. For Moicano, he suffered a five round beating although he stayed somewhat in it. For rda it seemed like a sloppy performance and a fight he should of ended a lot earlier. Feel like rda is a journeyman now I don’t see him winning the lightweight or welterweight title

On top of not being able to do anything with him, Masvidal's corner are pure yes men. Colby changes gyms and is still just as good not to mention a mlllion times more grounded as a man. He plays a character but masvidal entire identity is a legit movie character that speaks in cringe quotes, gets high, dresses like he is 15 and is sorrounded by enablers. Truly a sight to behold these two.

Masvidal’s coach is a paid Yes man. He only tells Jorge what he wants to here. “all he did was wrestle you.” Umm…. Yeah, this is MMA! He needs to fire his coaches ASAP…

I love how masvidal coach try to take the blame off their self’s by saying you came to fight he came to wrestle. But you guy knew this coming in to the fight. At the end of the day the lose falls on the whole team by not preparing for that exact situation and it showed in the fight

Tough to see Jorge sit there and listen to yes men telling him Colby didn't want to fight.. he can tell Jorge knew deep down, he was outstruke, out wrestled, and mauled for 25 minutes.. other than 1 good shot. Jorge knows his team where talking pure shit.

Jorge got outworked in every aspect from wrestling to striking. He only got one lucky shot the entire fight 😂😂. Colby looked like he could go 5 more rounds

Masvidal knows. He said he should have put more effort in his wrestling in the post conference, thing is you cant really learn anything at 37. Sad but true. One of the reasons he started to train with Colby was to develop his ground game, but you can only improve up to a certain point.
