Sort of. He let go of a huge opportunity to roast ian and his wag. Him not having a wag book in his hand was a huge mistake, too. His stock would have shot through the roof. When ian offered to shake his hand, geoff should have got the crowd to boo him louder, and then told ian to sit down, shut up, and reflect on what's he's done. This isn't a charity. They decide matchups to get viewers to buy the ppv or to get tickets. At least this card is good. Not like last year when weight cut fails made them change it up and it became better more interesting matchups. Don't know who the clowns are overthinking their jobs, but the matchmakers could have done better in many past cards.

Volk doesn't cut 35-40lbs, he generally cuts about 20-25lbs, his walk around weight is normally approx 165-170lbs. His last fight against Islam where he was overweight he cut 27.5lbs to make 155.

So many exciting fights on this card.

Of course it was the loudest press conference. They had it in the actual arena and invited thousands of people to attend.

I'm a proud casual viewer of mma boxing and wrestling. I was also an irregular viewer of all the sports I liked. Even the sports I took part in. The boys who collected cards, scarves, magazines and other paraphernalia were tedious to me. I could out perform them all on the playing field whether they knew who had come top of the 1967 league or not. Knowing trivia is by definition trivial. The beating heart of any sport is comprised of those who play it.
