Some fighters make it to the top from training since they were 3 years old. Others do so from athleticism and hard work. But Francis...sure he made it for all of those reasons as well...but that was after the fact that he already had a Champion Mindset!! You see, he was a champion before he ever even fought. He was so strong minded and had flames of determination so strong, that he made it out of there. Out of his circumstances. Out of his struggling and poor reality!! Whatever it took, he was getting out, and going somewhere that had promise. Most people break or die when they try to make it out. But not him. Not at all. You see...we can all he regarded as champions in our own right. So remember that, and push forward...every waking moment!!

Ngannou is actually from Cameroon. It share a boarder with Nigeria. Both are west African countries and share a few cultural similarities. But yeah it not about the underdog background, but more on fighting style and character.
