@@Dan-vz7xu I think there's an argument to be made that if Sean threw 2-3 more punches in the first round instead of trying to walk it off, Almeida wouldn't have had to content with 2 more rounds of shots to the face and body. Yeah sure the shots when they are down might seem excessive, but the alternative is usually letting them get back up and then having to do it to them again. Whats worse for them? A knockdown and a 1-2 more hits to end it. Or 2-3-4-5 Knockdowns with several shots to the leg, to the knee, to the liver etc before being finished in the third round? That's not to say that some fighters aren't incredibly excessive and dive on people who are CLEARLY out and hammerfist them into oblivion when they are already in the Fencing Position. Im just saying trying to be the "Class act" isn't always going to be the medically best answer

@guts94 I think it was a spare of the moment decision that played in his favor despite what experts would protest. When a fighter rushes a downed a opponent they look desperate, as if they're scared the opponent is gonna resurrect so they look like a monkey smashing their arms at the opponent until the ref stops them. But with O'Malley a slow walk with a calculated and sharp punch looked like an execution. O'Malley looked like a serial killer instead of that look of desperation you see from normal fighters.
