Damn man. I remember watching this episode more than a decade ago and becoming an instant Jon Jones fan. He seemed so genuine and humble. I remember waking up in the morning (live in Europe) and searching the internet to see the results. I was so happy he won. Fast forward ten years. Turns out the guy is a complete sociopath and narcissist. I still tune in every time he fights and I still believe in him as a fighter. Lost my faith in him as a person though..

His legs are skinny when compared to other parts of his body, but when compared to other legs out there, like Anderson Silvas legs, you'll realize that they really aren't as skinny as they seem.

I think Jon going back and watching this special would do him a world of good. Yes, he's now a major success. Yes, he's gotten all the sponsors to take notice and get a LOT of money. Yes, he's established himself as the greatest LHW ever, and in the conversation for GOAT. But he's lost his way as a person. He's on the verge of being Rocky Balboa in Rocky 3, where IF he tumbles from the mountain top, he'll be shattered as a person, because what he is now isn't the real him. He needs to get back to his roots as a human, and that begins with holding himself responsible for the message he originally had before winning the belt. I hope he can do it in light of this recent shit. He's beyond talented, and has the right charisma to make everyone take notice. He just needs to take himself a little less serious, and remember he's human like the rest of us.

With only 3 years, if Gus was the champ at the time, Jones would never have been champion because he cant handle people his OWN size. We all seen it, and Deep down we all know it

You have made yourself the type of fighter that is now on another level and your respective division can no longer hold you. As a society we like to build people up and then break them down. Please stop looking for everyone's approval. A true fan of MMA will recognise and acknowledge you and what you have achieved. Keep your head up young brother and remember you do not stand alone !

@AndrewTA31 you have picked a great role model, Mr. Jones is a credit to the arts. i have been a Martial Arts instructor for 18 years and if i may offer some advice, in my experience talent is not a blessing compared to a strong work ethic. my most talented students usually quit when the going gets tough, but my humble and hard working students push through and reach their goal because they had to work so hard for them. if it comes easy then so does quitting. stay strong and focused.
