The sounds in the Apex when Dan and Dustin are smashing each other’s faces is amazing. That fight was crazy. Dan decided to brawl, it was his path to victory, but Dustin was game.
The Hooker vs. Poirier fight was undoubtedly my favorite fight in years. So much back and forth, not knowing who was going to win the rounds. Dan Hooker got my respect that night. Top 5 fight of all time for me

Dude is seriously a warrior, made 0 excuses for the recent loss even though it was very short notice. Although I think taking that fight on short notice was a mistake and if he had a full camp the result would’ve been different you cannot argue with the grit of this man.

I think Islam still beats him in full training camp but yeah it would be more competitive. he took with Islam in short notice so that's definitely some BMF shit right there.
Hooker has quietly, yet quite efficiently, earned his way into many fans’ hearts, including my own. I hope he continues to evolve and shape his skills and legacy and maybe one day earn that belt. He’s got a champion’s heart for sure, very deserving in that regard imo

I've been championing for Dan Hooker to get the Conor Mcgregor "return fight" for a while. For all he did for the company during the height of the Pandemic... Dudes an absolute warrior and deserves the payday.

Coming from New Zealand, one good pay day could make for a perfectly adequate life, here in paradise. I have no doubt Dan would appreciate that pay day more than the average American fighter.
His fight vs Dustin aged so well. He could still compete with the top guys.

Man I love Hooker! One of my favourite fighters in the history of the sport. Hopefully he goes on a roll from here, as he deserves to be remembered as one of the best light weights of this era.

Dan Hooker vs Poirier and Gaethje vs Chandler are to this day the best fights i seen of UFC modern era
it’s always surprised me how much muscle mass he has for a 6’0 lightweight. more than some of the 5’9 guys and even 5’8 guys, who are supposed to be more sturdy in that division

Dan is already a legend in my books (and I'm sure many others) by giving us so much already despite all the covid related restrictions. Think we owe him big time as a community and as such please I ask you to follow his social medias etc as it costs us nothing and helps him out a lot getting better sponsorship deals and maybe make UFC appreciate him a bit more ! Lets show him some love 😉

What exactly makes the guy a legend ? He wins one loses one wins one loses one anytime he was faces against a serious threat he lost.. dans a decent fighter but people be throwing the word legend around like any kid playing in a ball pit can be called one lmfao dans a the next best thing to a joke belongs at bellator ufc keeps him because they know fans love him just because his personality not his figbting skills thats for sure i mean his record speaks for itself hes got like 100 losses

I'll always be a fan of Hooker and Porier for putting on that fight. That was one of the first fights I watched in the beginning of the pandemic, where there was fuckall going on in the world in general. Then I stumble upon this fight, first time I watched a fight live. I was 'hooked'. Hooker looked like the best lightweight in the world at the end of that second round. Still don't know how porier survived that... Absolute legends
That Dustin vs Hooker fight was insane. That period where Hooker was just unloading on Dustin was crazy. How did Dustin survive that. That was an epic fight. Salute to both fighters for that fight.

That fight with Poirier absolutely terrified me at the time; I don't know how both of those men avoided extended hospital stays after that one. Hooker was definitely affected by it but now seems back to form and knows he needs to fight smarter and avoid more of those bang-out fights.
