People underrate how influential Brock was for MMA. He introduced a completely new set of fans to the sport and helped develop the UFC, way before the Conor's and the Ronda's of the world.

Casuals who just got into the sport since Conor joined the UFC maybe. But those of us who witnessed Brock Lesnar live during this period know the numbers he pulled. Next to said criminal Irishman, Brock as the headliner has the highest number of PPV buys. Brock & Conor are by far the biggest names in the history of the sport. Not the best ever in any weight class, but certainly brought more new eyeballs to our sport than anyone else. Sadly Conor’s a pos & his fanboys will defend anything he does (and seem to know less about mma than anyone including Mario Yamasaki and Mazzagatti) , but him & Brock did bring tons of new fans to mma.

He's a hell of an athlete but if they think no one will notice they put a guy that old out there just to play his name for a cash grab then they don't respect their viewers. Courture was over 45 for his last fight not much younger for this one. The oldest olympic medalist in wrestling was 37 (bronze). The oldest qualifier was 41 and that it was over 100 years ago. I'd say the risk of injury in wrestling is lower so you probably should cut people off from the UFC at 35. He was over 10 years past that.. There's no way he doesn't have CTE from this.

The few time his late stoppage was justified was when Lesnar got pummeled by Overeem after that liver kick. Casuals were claiming Brock threw out the fight because they didn't know how painful a liver shot is, and it also doesn't help Lesnar immediately retired after that. Had Yamasaki stopped the fight after few Reem punches, people would've made conspiracy theories regarding the fight.

To loosely quote the great philosopher Russell Westbrook -"What's is you talking about bruh? Y'all _____'s is crazy!" Exciting yes, money maker yes, wrestler yes, big asf yes, steroids ✅, 5-3-0 (1nc) destroyed in losses besides 2nd Mir fight and Old Man Randy Couture and both of those fights were Garbage IMHO, he didn't do anything but sell pay-per-views, notoriously scared of getting hit in the face, no talk game on the mic, if he speaks just like in WWE it's corny and weird! Not even remotely close to being anywhere near Great in MMA. There are more cut Heavyweight Fighters from the UFC with better records and accolades then he could ever dream of. It was a gimmick that paid off. I can't believe there are still people who think he was some kind of great MMA fighter. Not being rude or disrespectful to the commenter. But as the kids say "FACTS"

I know people kind of dismiss Brock Lesnar because of his wwe career, but this dude was a monster. He took the ufc heavyweight belt and defended it twice with arguably limited mma experience. He was 106-5 in NCAA wrestling. I’m not saying he’s a legendary heavyweight, but he was a very good fighter.

Zero respect for this steroid monster-cheater and all my respect to Randy Couture who was a real fighter.
