Such a awesome guy ! Also love seeing as the fights went on in the clip, you notice hes progressively getting in better shape in each fight. Getting leaner, faster and stronger. Glad hes able to focus on mma full time.

Yea, he's barely had time to be a full time athlete! Hopefully he is able to keep up with his own super-fast start. I'd like to see him take some time after the Lewis fight if he wins. The very top of the division has so much more experience than him.

I have been following this dude through his whole career and his skills keep improving. Especially with him being a full time fighter now that is a big change. I expect big results from this man.

@@thestonksmarket1897 dog i lobe Lewis but clearly you haven’t been a fan of his for a long time. He was ko by Matt mitrione, people argue he lost to Latifi. If Derrick doesn’t get a ko he usually loses by points and I can see the same in this fight. But idk my guts telling me they may have rushed Daukus a little bit here

@@QuanNguyen-vw1pu I don't know I feel like he is a very bad matchup for Lewis, The Black beast tends to get picked apart by technical strikers. Of course Lewis has way more experience but I don't really think he ever uses his experience in his fights. He just wings haymakers and stand straight up when someone tries to lay on top of him.

Brooo I completely agree and I get it because of his age they trying to push him as fast as they can and he is pushing him self just as fast..Hope it works out cause dude is awesome and love his hand speed at heavyweight but when you get to Lewis we talking whole next level shit I don't think he is quit ready for that level should have took couple more fights to keep getting in better physical shape cause it has gotten better each fight Lewis is a brick shit house 🏠 idk bout this one

@@seanhickey1999 yes I agree but Lewis is also the come back kid for a reason cause it only takes one shot and not even a clean shot at any angle if Chris gets over zealous and throws the huge combination a I gurantee leweis is not gonna just cover up!! I'm routing for Chris but the risk is wayyy to high in this one I think should have took couple more fights continue to keep working on fitness level before this fight happens

Chris and Derrick are my favorite heavyweights, straight up.
The dude is a can that got lucky, he's not elite at all and had back to back brutal ko losses, he should stay in top 15 because he can't hang in the top 10 and doesn't stand a single chance in the top 5
Lewis is one of fav fighters to watch but this the first time I'm rooting against him. Let's go Chris Philly supporting you !
He's got that pop has his shoulder nice and loose at the start and just pops it he throws amazing shots and turns them over beautifully this dude is gonna be huge tbh

I hope not lol. I was hoping with Daniel losing to stipe we could finally keep man handles away from the top of the sport. sadly the most promising heavyweights are probably the guys you just mentioned and tai tuivasa. Personally I think Gane beats all of them but we'll see

God, I can see why he's already fighting The Black Beast. That last KO with the mouthpiece flying was sensational. I would really like to see him in a fight with either Miocic or Aspinall for #1 contender, but still.. Derrick is going to bring it to him.

I have a brown belt in Judo, from many years ago, but don’t practice anymore because of car accident. I appreciate how he manhandles his opponent’s, many technical wasn’t the best choice of words to describe that, lol 😂 Cheers 🤙🏼
