Nothing went "wrong" for Izzy. Strickland just shut down the entire game of Izzy and not letting izzy pick of from range with legkicks. Izzy could barely land a kick. Amazing performance from Sean.

No REMATCH ❌. You don't run from somebody for 5 rounds while they stalk you down, on your 0 title defense streak, and immediately get another rematch. Dricus is next for Sean. Sean pressured him the whole fight, didn’t overextend and open himself up to be countered, and broke Izzy by the end, hence why Izzy was still backing up at the end when he knew he needed a finish. Izzy’s a very good counterstriker, but like we saw with the Romero fight, if he can’t get going with those counters he has a rough time. Alex was dominant every time he was applying pressure but didn't have the cardio, sharpness or defense to match. Sean has it all, smothered kicking range to take away the only weapon izzy has. Forced him into boxing range where izzy has awful boxing on the back foot. For the life of me his team needs to teach him how to clinch and use trips. He offered 0. Landed a jab every 5 and had no answer for in the pocket scraps. Changing of the guard. 6 years on top is alot longer than what most people recognize. 34 izzy is past his peaks for sure. @@mrspiff6955 That wasn't great but like myself, most Aussies don't like him because of how he carries himself, not because he beat Rob. The way he behaves goes against values most Aussies are brought up with. We don't put up with grown men behaving like small children. He's a great fighter. Shame he's lacking in the maturity departent.

People saying Adesanya doesn't deserve a rematch is mind boggling... He's the most active champion, cleared out his divison (almost twice), never turned down a fight, only lost to an ex glory double champ whos beaten him in kickboxing and the ex 205 champ. Tried to get the belt in a second division and people are trying to use that as a reason for him NOT getting the rematch for some reason?? oh but hes 1-2 in his last fight (lets not mention who those two were that doesn't matter shhhh

It's not fair to try to take this dominant victory from Sean by saying that Izzy was slow and something was off about him, we've watched Izzy fighting countless times, and he looked no different that he did in previous fights, Sean was just a better fighter tonight with amazing defiance, I just wish the shot of confidence he had at the end was used during the fight, he could've probably finished the fight, congrats Sean you deserve it.

@@John_Connor556 I always look forward to Dana's post fight press conference, but he says a lot of nonsense sometimes and he doesn't even realize it, i mean the contradiction here is obvious, on one hand saying "this is the greatest sport in the world with unpredictable outcomes" and the other hand "Izzy was off tonight" so basically we know why Sean won because Izzy was slow, if he wasn't he would've won as expected, the great Eugene himself negated Dana's statement, izzy was fine and ready as we all saw, , he just list to a better man, and no push back from these so called media guys eating out of Dan's hand, challenge him man, what fight were you watching if you agreed with him?
