If UFC 300 isn't a full on spartan event, I'll be seriously disappointed.

The UFC announcers and Dana White seem to have forgotten that Jose Aldo defended the featherweight belt 7 times whereas Alexander Volkanovski only defended it 5 times. It is very disrespectful to Jose Aldo's legacy and his Hall of Fame career to not include him in the discussion about who the featherweight goat is...

It's pretty silly to want that fight since Izzy knocked out Alex. Tom has far greater power than Izzy. If Tom lands a punch anywhere on Alex skull, he's dead. Hill vs Alex is much better. So long as hill actually shows up in shape and not fat.

@@zaeynalamgir1384 Well, Volk lost to Topuria now, who's basically a no name fighter on paper, so mma math is pure nonsense. The people Aldo fought at the time were the best of the best at that time. He also dominated in the WEC which was the champion's league for BW and FW and the way he did it was beautiful. That double knee for example! Most people suffer from recency bias unfortunately. But everybody is entitled to their opinion and mine is that Aldo is still the best to have ever done it at FW.

fair enough bro....but i think the level of competition volk has faced is levels above aldo....aldo stats wise is still the mannn but after he lost to many people in 145 he moved down to 135 and beat some good fighters which means he was not completely outta performance but just not as skilled as the next generation. mind you tuporia will be in the talks of 145 goat in the future as he is only 27@@Guillermo_Carratero

Volk needs a break after Back to Back KO losses, if they put him in a rematch right away, he getting slept even easier. Do the Izzy things; let Illa fight someone else and allow Volk to take as much time as he needs and come back to face whoever is champ when he's recovered.
