Edson Barboza is one of the few fighters in the UFC that NEVER ducked anybody. He fought WHOEVER he got offered: low ranked, high ranked, prospect, veteran, Big name, unknown name, short notice , you name it. He deserves a couple millions to his name

I beg to differ ... few fighters in the UFC duck anybody or Edson would never have anybody to fight. Do You get my drift? Lol!

he fought 27 times for the UFC, deserves HOF and few million minimum, he hopefully will do well money-wise since he can coach and stuff. Thank god they paid him ~100k+ for every fight starting with his first Felder fight. 2.5M career earnings over 13 years in the UFC

Yeah and if they can put cowboy in the HOF then I really hope they honor Jim Miller too he'll end his career with the most UFC wins of all time and maybe ever Just because these guys didn't hold a belt doesn't make them not HOF material

@@robertt8822 Yeah now not sure the purpose of the HOF. I thought only great champions/the GOATs/ the pioneers would be inducted, but it seems like it's going to be any fighter the UFC favors. Like yeah Cowboy fought a lot and had some good finishes, but so do a lot of other fighters.
The first time I saw this man in the octagon I thought he had the most savage leg kicks. Just a great fighter, a staple in the UFC and we should appreciate him while hes here

He is really something! WEC Aldo used to be that guy back in the days.
Definitely one of the most creative strikers and unique styles to ever grace the octagon. Certified 1 of 1
if putting people to sleep in an unconventional way can be considered an art then edson barboza must be the grandmaster
His highlight reel alone makes Barboza a legend. The Flying Knee on Dariush, the Etim Wheel Kick, the dissection of Dan Hooker, the liver kick that froze Evan Dunham. All brutal finishes

He’s also a victim of some absolutely bull crap decision losses in the ufc namely to Dan Ege and Paul Felder. Those alone cost him easily $160k in win bonuses. Atrocious gudgings….
Dudes a legend, never a boring fight . Brutal combos
One of the best strikers in the Ufc for sure. His kicks were wonderful
Always loved watching him and one of the greatest KO ever. He's just a loveable person and I hope he can win at the weekend.
Edson might be my favorite fighter ever. Never in a boring fight.
True monster. One of the best and most vicious strikers we’ve ever seen in MMA
The Burgos ko was crazy. From different angle you can see Burgos’ eyes rolling back and he goes out a couple seconds after being hit.
Edson has been one of my favourite Brazilian MMA fighter

Big fan of Barboza, fights are always entertaining and has knockouts that will be remembered forever in mma
With the absolute brutality with which he kicked people, i’d say he’s more than earned his spot in the HoF, I mean who else has multiple finishes with leg, body, and head kicks?

If I had to guess, I'd say Donald Cerrone... Gaethje...maybe even Chikadze (if not yet, he will)

I would like to clarify that i’m sighting finishes in the UFC, and Miso while those guys are all great kickers, and i agree that Giga particularly will probably be up there, I still don’t think Cerrone has the power to the leg or body, and Gaethje barely throws anything besides leg kicks, very rare for him to go to the head or especially to the body. Don’t get me wrong, some of my fav fighters but they just aren’t quite the same imo, plus no crazy wheel kick or turning side kick finishes, ie Etim and Hooker.

The most brutally significant kicks and knees anyone had seen up until that point. He has always been an exciting fighter who no one wanted to fight when he first hit the scene
Edson has always been a great fighter and a good man (as men go)-a man of faith with a wholesome family.
One of the most explosive fighters ever.

Barboza vs Burgos is still one of my favorite fights, it was pure back and forth action. I even started to learn the spinning heel kick because I saw the highlight from Barboza.🥋🥋👊👊

Genuinely has an all time iconic finish in the Etim wheel kick KO. That was 2012, people still remember it.
Thanks for everything JUNIOR 🙏
Came here for the wheel kick - one of the best KOs of all time!
Verified striker. If you're talking kicks, AND knockouts, this man is really him.
Edson is such a chill dude for being an absolute killer
Always been a fan of this guy. Super entertaining performances and one of the few true "Don't Blink" fighters
Imagine this guy with a great takedown defense, and with good jiujitsu. They would be champions for sure.
One of my favorite fighters growing up 🤙🏽🇧🇷🇲🇽
Legend
I really appreciate Edson Barbosa's career. definitely the best kicker in the UFC. the best muay thai in MMA.
You got to love how Edson humbly acknowledges the skills of Etim. This game really is about inches after all... Great mentality, great champion.
Respect!
Love watching edson
Always respectful and super humble
He is a Warrior 💪🏼
UFC legend. That spinning kick is among the best KOs ever.
Never had a boring fight. Even when he loses, getting mauled by Khabib he gave Khabib that kick straight to the head.
He’s one of a kind , a sportsmanship warrior
He's a cast-iron striker, and we LOVE him for it 😊

OG of the fight game. My legs hurt just watching those kicks
This man's a legend he will be in the hall of Fame to doubt about it🔥🙏

Oh my God, those leg kicks gives you an invincible wings! 🔥
The UFC should do a ton more of these videos. It's very well done. Also Edson is the absolute man.
He's definitely in my top ten of all time💯💯💯💯
His knockouts always made me feel bad for the opponents, they were just so brutal.
Undoubtedly one of the best kickers in the world. It's an honour to see him fighting.
Édson sou um grande fã luta muito top
Without a doubt the most exciting striker in UFC’s recently memory in my book. Also just happened to be one of the nicest guys out there. Fan 4 life!
Best kicker in mma, lightning fast and powerful, variety of kicks is out of this world. Finishes with leg kick, body kick and head kick!
Edson is one of my favorite Brazilians because he doesn't want to do any BJJ- he just wants to take your freakin' head off. And yet such a nice, soft-spoken guy. Legend
What a legend
Here after his last KO beautiful knee Still fighting like young what a warrior ❤❤
One of my favourite fighters, an amazing technical talent.
Shows martial arts as its finest, this man is a legend

That Ghengis Khan Steppes Wrestling was new on the scene, just like BJJ was when Royce Gracie introduced it. That's why Edson was confused by the stalling" tactics, "This guy is just trying to turn me into a homosexual, return us to a fighting position, ref!" Lol!
No belt, but belt of the fan, force barboza Most agressive, and skill, how not to love❤
