I'm tired of hearing TJ go Robbed... Dominck clearly won the first 3 rounds with 4 takedowns and landing combos plus TJ could NOT hit him in the first 3 rounds. that's already 3 rounds to nothing. 4th and 5th go to TJ with leg kicks and landing big shots on Cruz and he wasn't sloppy like the earlier rounds. Regardless it's still 3-2 Cruz wins. The judge that scored it 49-46 is ridiculous. Well deserved win by Cruz

Fantastic card. I didn't like how Eddie stalled against the fence. I was amazing how good Cruz's movement was. Tj was swinging at air for half the fight. However, I still think TJ did enough to win. It was close though

Hey Dana, I think the money match up would be a card with Dominic Cruz vs. Renan Barao and as a co main Dillashaw vs. Faber, with the winners facing each other. What a build up that would be. With the Drama of the falling out between Faber and Dillashaw and Cruz facing someone he has not faced it might even make a Pay Per View caliber event with a good undercard

TJ and Faber should fight for whoever fights Cruz next. Due to both their history as friends and running with Coach and all the other drama. plus think both matchup well. and wouldn't mind seeing either fight Cruz.

i like the way Megan interviews she brings personality and doesn't sound like a robot, and it also helps that she's attractive ;)

I want the eventual rematch but I want to see tj fight someone else first. Who knows if Cruz will be healthy enough for his own fight too.

Giffin is right. Cruz was set for a title defense against Urijah Faber on the July 2012 show coming off Ultimate Fighter when he tore his ACL a few weeks before the fight. Faber vs. Cruz was part of a show with Anderson Silva vs Chael Sonnen. That show did 925,000 buys, and if you had loaded it with another title match, it would have probably topped 1 million. Cruz had a percentage, and we’re talking his cut would have been way into the seven figures, basically the kind of money that bantamweights aren’t’ going to make.

WTF. A judge scored it 49-46 and another one scored it 49-46 cruz. That makes me so angry wtf can they have the same scoring system? I feel like the winner is just based on the judges scoring preference.

Cruz won that fight, combinations landed even if they didn't have much power on them he had great takedowns great foot work which made tj miss a lot! Tj looked bad only thing he had was back round kick and a right hand every now an then Dominick won wether it be by an inch or a mile winning is winning and that's what the man does!

I think dominick cruz would give conor the most problems, I think it could go either way

TJ won that fight, for sure the last two rounds. He was the aggressor and landed more damaging shots throughout the fight. I do not see how cruz won, he ran around for most of the fight.

Dana totally didn't want Cruz to win, even though Cruz and TJ are around the same age. Cruz isn't as exciting for the masses, because he plays for points, where as TJ goes can KO, Cruz has had a lot of injuries so he doesn't have a long shelf life. I'm a Cruz fan, but from Dana's perspective, it's better to have TJ win, because he's a more exciting fighter who can fight more often. It's better to build TJ up to a star rather than have Cruz remain the star, because it breathes more life into the division than have things return to normalcy.

Bitch please, scoring these fights are so subjective, dana and all 3 judges saw the fight completely different from one another, and the media was split almost evenly in scoring he fight with a slight favoring towards cruz, people seem to be divided as well, thats all fine but what grinds my gears are those who refuse to see that it was a close fight and act like it was a 1st rd ko or something knowing fully well that if the judging pendulum swung ever so slightly in the other direction you'd be hearing the same meathead arrogance coming from TJ fans, hind sight is 20/20 my friends but who had any clue how the judges would score this given their previous reputation with split dec championship fights? lets be reasonable and call it what it was, a close and somewhat subjective split dec based on how you define your criteria of winning a fight.
