I remember meeting Alistair Overeem YEARS ago when i was 15 or 16 and i was about to compete in my first ever local Kickboxing match in The Netherlands and he was just done with his match and he walked towards my coach and me and said something to my coach and then he showed me this HUGE swelling on his shin and laughed about it while i still had to compete and i got even more nervous lmao. Wow! Very fantastic timeline!Wow!
I am Dutch. I am proud. Thank you Alistair Overeem.
1:36 gtfo my way homie I gotta celebrate
Hes such a gem to the sport
The fact that Overeem was capable of defeating someone like Vitor says enough, was always technically gifted
Alistair "Left Knee Cemetery, Right Knee Hospital" Overeem
He was my age when I was born, 20 years my elder I respect a man who's been fighting my whole life literally.
Epic legendary timeline. He has mixed it up exclusively at the highest level for the better part of 2 decades. From a tall skinny pure kick boxer, to Uber reem, to smaller post usada reem who aged like a fine wine. Legend.
You can’t talk heavy weights WITHOUT the Reem
Respect to Alistair for staying at the top of the game for so long, especially at HW.
Overeem is a Warrior ..I first heard of him when he fought chuck Liddell in Pride ..he came out with Thors hammer...either he's doing the smashing or he goes out on his shield trying to get the knock out..20 years fighting the best and he's still doing it ..incredible
Can't believe that some people have Gegard over him when talking about the best Dutch MMA fighter. I think Overeem is clearly ahead
the reem is a true legend
