Just finished watching him fight a guy 11 years younger than him. The guy is phenomenal for his age. I always wondered if he had the same skill set he has now as he did when he was younger he would have been on the side of more wins on his record. Many of his fights where he lost by ko was him being too reckless and relying on his power and youth. Once he got in the UFC and got a few more ko losses he came back with amazing defense, patient striking, footwork. One of my favorites to watch.

My favorite UFC HW fighter of all time! He has been counted out by so many people I have seen him reinvent himself and prove that he doesn't have a glass jaw and that he can box just as well as anyone in the division. I did get a good laugh when he did that fence grab in his first UFC fight to get that armbar belly down I hadn't seen that before. You can never question his resilience and love for this sport.
It's satisfying in many Sports when you see a veteran still compete, even if their a shadow of what they used to be just seeing them compete is great, especially for longtime fans.
This guy has been a beast from day one
Gotta love how he came in as Andrei Orlovski from Russia, before becoming well-known enough for them to pronounce his last name correctly, and eventually acknowledge that he was, in fact, from Belarus. And amazingly, he's still sticking around, serving as a verteran gatekeeper at HW who still wins quite consistently. Dude definitely deserves a spot in the HoF.

One of my favorite fighters.
About time the UFC gave him any recognition or credit the last decade. Seems like they never highlighted the fact he was like one of the UFC's heavyweight champions until just now. Tim Sylvia was the biggest heavyweight (quite literally) in the UFC in the day. and when arvlovski took him out I went nuts. I was so stoked to see him back in the UFC and looking to finish his legacy and career here. He's still pushing and hanging in there with the newer generations of premier, top level MMA heavyweights. He deserves a lotta love
Forever a fan.
Legend!!!
I was born and partially raised in Edmonton, Alberta and I'm STILL pulling for Arlovski tomorrow. Such a fucking legend. Never gave up no matter the tribulations, has never been discouraged from his goal of recapturing gold. He takes on all comers, always: fellow legends, young destroyers, phenoms, debutants, everyone. It really is remarkable. NO ONE fights at heavyweight at the most elite level of this sport for twenty fucking years and counting, and is still always a threat. NO one, save maybe for Overeem but he's mixed in kickboxing. The original Pitbull is the only real one. Long live this warrior.
Andre's only weakness from early on that I could see was a glass jaw. He was a monster with a glass jaw. I root for him still to this day. Win, lose or draw I root for AA
What a LEGEND🔥
Thanks for the video!
