I noticed there energy at first, then I recognized Nick immediately. He towered over me smiling as if he knew that I recognized him. We chatted, he then asked me if I knew his brother and that he fought too. I was like idk who he is. They all jokingly laughed at Nate,whom i didnt know of at the time. Long story short, you get what you see with these guys. They're real, really cool genuine people too.

Nick did it all to himself. And like you, he always blamed others fof his own actions. The guy ran away from his own coach and hid, leading up to the gsp fight. He always wanted more money, more hype, more attention, more, more, more, but then ran when he could have had all that. Unbelievably, nate actually showed more intelligence.

Nick is like a bee taking his time to extract the pollen once he knows he has it for sure. He rocks someone when they are tired and he does swooping overhand/hooks and body shots with 80% power but over and over again!

Their opponents just didn't seem to realize how powerful their jabs were, until it was too late. That accumulation added up and the next thing they knew, they were half-dummied.

There are other Nick Diaz fights that are so good even though it didn't included here. The submission victory over Jeremy Jackson. TKO victories against Gleison Tibau and Drew Fickett. Submitting Scott Smith in a 185 bout. And my personal favorite, armbar from the bottom against Evangelista Cyborg. As soon as Cyborg landed that takedown, Nick immediately rocked up that armbar. A true master of martial arts!

Nick is one of my favorite fighters. Just wish he hadn't been away for 6 years of his prime since 2015 because he could have been in many great fights already and been retired by now... We must all appreciate this man for always giving us entertainment and exciting fights :-)

I can see Conor took alot of inspiration from Nick's style when he was promoting the UFC. This man is a legend. One of the biggest pioneers of the sport to ever exist. Without him there is no Conor McGregor, and no UFC as the top MMA promotion.

You can’t teach what Nick and Nate Diaz have, they’re genuine fighters - win or lose there isn’t any quit in them. I love watching Nick go to the body as well, throws such a high volume of punches and mixes it up. Great to watch and quite unique in MMA where the tendency is to headhunt.

One of the few fighters that legit gives me goosebumps when i think of his fights. A true legend. BTW, even to this day i haven't seen any other fighter bob their head while on all fours the way he did vs Daley. Remember how Colby held on to Usman's legs and the ref stopped it cos Usman was punching? He really should've did what Nick did. Mannn, Nick really is such a smart fighter.

Diaz bros. BOTH are what made me want to watch MMA. They made everything I was thinking and feeling put it into a fight inside the ring. I love their attitude I love their style Stockton birthed two of the very BEST and I love em lol! Much love Diaz family.

And ofc you forget to mention he had 3 more fights, one against Carlos Condit who was a killer at that time and 2 more against all time greats like GSP and Anderson Silva and none of those guys were able to finish him. Man 4:15 to 4:50 is so awesome to see knowing Frank shamrock ko’d Nicks coach cesar in 10 seconds when they fought a few years before. Immediately after the fight nick said “I had to get it back for my boy!”.

Always have been a huge Nick Diaz fan. Back in late 2018 I was watching some highlights of his and wanted to get in shape similar to him. It took about a half year of some extremely hard work and diet changes but I was running a 5k a day plus around 30-50 k on my bike with weight training, bag work and core work thrown in. I was absolutely ripped and could just keep going. Thanks for the motivation Nick

Can't wait, Lawler might get him this time. DIAZ is the better overall fighter and his stand-up is awesome but throwing hands with Lawler is a risk,but shit Diaz is a badass boxer so who knows
