Nick Diaz's Run Through Strikeforce

Спорт

Nick Diaz went a perfect 6-0 in his time fighting for Strikeforce from 2009-2011 and won the inaugural welterweight title for the promotion in 2010. Diaz went on to defend that title three times before returning to the UFC at the end of 2011.

NIck was the first to do that , throwing punch at 50% force to don't kill himself , and then by touching , touching , touching people fall at one moment. Your body can handle one huge punch here and there , but Nick would drown you through punch , he come with 5 6 punch combos it almost coming form everywhere that you are blind to it , it's like the right touches you but not half a second later the left in your face too. And it's non stop . And when he sees that you are in difficulty or being hurt , then the real power comes in ans he hits 100%. But I always find Nick boxes fascinating coz his style is akward to say the list , I mean his position , the way he hits , the angle and not just angle of where he hits , even it's seems he punch with bended hand it's weird ^^, but man he crushed many people with it.

Beat Lawler, Shamrock, Penn, Daley, Tibau and his last 3 fights were decision losses to Condit, GSP, and a roided up Anderson fuckin Silva. Not to mention this dude was one of the biggest draws before MMA and the UFC became mainstream. Not really sure if he is HOF worthy but your comment is ignorant and disrespectful

@Joe Deadfinger I'm sorry if you feel offended or attacked, I'm simply making an argument for Nick Diaz' acceptance into the HOF. Also His record is 37 total pro fights, 26 Wins 9 losses and 2 No contests. Thats a little over 24% win/loss ratio final thought: Robbie's brawling style and tendency to brawl even harder when he gets hurt versus Nick's clean boxing, "Diaz Brothers chin", and Gracie blackbelt? Odds makers aren't even sure who to pick Nick is the slight favorite but one things is for sure this card is about to be a banger! Cheer up mate, we're all here for the sport

Combative sports (Boxing and UfC are evil) In the eyes of The Lord Jesus Christ, breaking someone’s nose or jaw (especially for money), is extremely wrong! Such a thing is NOT loving or kind at all. And even more so, cheering for another human being to be kicked in the face, or given a bloody nose, or a black eye, beaten up, or “knocked out unconscious ”- Is extremely wrong in His eyes as well. When we see two people fighting we should be appalled or displeased at the sight of it, Not be happy or excited…. He feels that it is extremely wrong to take excitement or pleasure in seeing someone’s son or daughter be being injured or beat up. In the eyes of the Lord it’s wrong! For these reasons, amongst all of the sports, MMA And Boxing are the sports that the HOLY Father despises the most as He considers them as especially evil or wicked. And I am sorry to say it, but He is right. (Psalm 11:5)- “The Lord tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence.”

I always thought he threw lots of volume, but most of his punches didn’t have power, until I saw the faces of his opponents, which said otherwise.

Favorite fighter of all time. Never backed down and held his own against two of arguably the best ever in GSP and Silva. Don't want to hear that GSP humped him the whole fight. They were both afraid to stand up and fight Diaz.

GSP had to hump him the whole fight. He stood with Diaz early and got rocked. GSP fought to minimize risk, he took the fight to a place where he had an advantage. That's why GSP is a GOAT. He understood that if he boxed with Diaz he would lose, so he didn't.

@@santinomireles3790 True GOAT finds the way to win. He didn't play into his opponents strength, and won with little risk. Fedor is the HW GOAT, but lost to Matt Mitrione and Dan Henderson on the feet because of the risks he took. GSP is the WW GOAT, if you don't think so, you're delusional.
