Holly could lose all her fights from now to the end of her career and she'd still be a legend to me. I don't know any other fighter who has won a world title in both mma and boxing. Plus, you can't forget the cherry on top - becoming the first to knock out Rousey by putting her to sleep. Probably the most satisfying fight I've ever seen in my life. It is my antidepressant.

@@MrRosie182 Bro, neither one of us knows the details of what went wrong with their marriage, but I can say from rumors, considering the Clos proximity I am from Albuquerque, her being a Fighter and public figure and her Husband being a business owner in New Mexico, there was a clash of personalities and her husband wanted her to carry herself a certain way and she wasn't willing to change for anyone, so of course that would lead to issues, again that's just what I heard. From what I see, she has always been a respectful and open person.

The more I look at her the more I realize there's something about Holly Holm that is incredibly attractive.

Holly rid the UFC of ronda. Nunes retired her yes, but Holly destroyed the hype, exposed her, and killed the illusion of rousey being "the best athlete in human history" and she'll always be my hero for that.

hero and then losses 3 fights in a row 💀 wins once gets a tittle shot and then losses, it’s not fair she gets undeserved title shots , yes she may be a good fighter but she didn’t desirve those title shots. Not to mention her finishes weren’t exciting just boring decision wins. Ronda was good for her time but you can’t deny for that time period she had a right getting that title, she was getting crazy first round finishes ofc she’s gonna get hype. she held it up for 3 years and holy lost her first title shot. she’s overhyped

@@diegomunoz1733 You're acting like I don't know any of that. I said in another post that Holly has had a rocky career since then but I don't care. She did the deed and that's all that matters to me. If she had fought rousey in a rematch and lost and rousey continued her reign then she wouldn't be my hero but that didn't happen. Also rousey was dominant when there was hardly any competition for her. Sara mcmann, Cat Zingano, Bethe Correia. Not exactly a murderers row, so of course she would look good against them. Don't forget, ronda dropped down to fight smaller girls and avoided Cyborg in Strikeforce. Ronda would absolutely not survive the current crop of female fighters. But as I said, I acknowledge that Holly didn't become the next greatest thing, but she didn't crumble after her losses, and she still destroyed the illusion and mega hype of ronda and that's all I care about. Do ya get me?

Wooow! A top athlete talking so openly and honestly about her fights and career. I love it! Holly Holm beat the "unbeatable" female Jon Jones of the time and she totally outclassed Rousey.To me, Holly Holm is one of the absolute GOATs of MMA. I hope she gets a chance at the belt again soon. It is so deserved.

Its hard to realise these legends are getting old...

Wow. The story of how she faced Ronda was quite chilling. Great story. That was a legendary moment, and I'm you covered it in this interview. BTW, Holly is a much better fighter now than she was a few years ago. Her wrestling is absolutely great now.

I always find how polar opposite her demeanor is from interview to fight day fascinating.

I live in Albuquerque with my dad I me and him were talking in the car and saw Holly Holmes running

I don't keep up with MMA overall, but once in a while top contenders will ring a bell. I do remember Holly's name, and I associate it with top tier fighters. For whatever reason, I am late to the show about her. Today the algorithm drew my curiosity, so I watched some highlights, read some biography, and now this interview. WOW! My opinion is that she is impressive professionally and personally. As she's talking about her fighting experience, I'm listening and comprehending, but my mind is separating the conversationalist from the fighter. Holly is a great interviewee. I could listen to her for hours. I am definitely a fan now. What a gem. Good upload and a video worth watching.

Its not about wins or loses.. its about the spectacular moments that fill us fans with overwhelming emotion. Holly Holm gave us that.. and more.

Always liked Holly, just not a fan of her coaches, I don't think we've seen the best of her because she's had that same style of fighting and she also said she's always had the same sparring partners which isn't really a good thing because whoever you're sparring you know how they fight and vice versa so you're not learning anything new. I would've liked to have seen her switched camps like ATT or something so we could see the best Holly Holm and utilizing all her weapons

Constant professionalism, one of the best switch kicks and strongest bases in the history of mma, plus a solid boxing game and defense submission, she should go in the hall of fame eventually..well if she isn't already that is lol I haven't checked.
