@@jddnnn What makes him the most dangerous fighter and most complete fighter across all divisions is he has so many variety of offensive attacks and is the best submission artist by far but Makhachev manage to neutralise all of that due to him being the best grappler in the sport. The only weakness of Oliveira is his defensive stand up. Tell me of another champion who has both stand up and ground game?
One fight on 2019 and his next fight was on 2031, that just shows how much Islam is avoided

@Vincenzo G unanimous means every judge voted for islam. It doesnt have anything to do with how close ot was or wasnt. Its either unanimous if all 3 judges vote for 1 fighter, split decision if 2 judges vote for 1 fighter and the third votes for the other. Your comment makes no sense my man.

@@dan-3268 they use their feet and hips lile the judokas, obviously they grab the "suit" but here the goal is to be close to your oponent so you are grabing the arm or the torso wich is kind of the same thing as the suit, just pull or push the body of the oponent and make them lose their balance with hips, feet and their own weight, the dude used some tecniques from judo both to throw and to submit the oponent (at least what i could see also trained Judo some time)

there are levels in this sport. When you can can beat world champion caliber fighters and make it look easy, that is special man. Be it khabib or Islam these guys are dominate. Wow. This is a respect sport, i appreciate these dagestani guys, humble in victory and show respect. , I don’t think Islam is as good as you think he is, his wrestling isn’t top level like Khabib’s, he’s a very easy fight for any of the top 5, but he’s definitely good enough for ufc just not championship level.💯 someone will humble him.

If islam wins his next fight I think chandler would be a good matchup for him. Chandler shouldn't get to fight anyone ranked higher than him after losing a title shot and islam gets to fight a top contender. It's a win win.

Dude whats so impressive with this guy is that he's super quick to act on his opponents mistakes. The UFC needs to recognize this guy and give him some more fights. It's a shame he's not being spoken about.

Felipe, Just like Khabib, Makhachev acted tactically and increased his score with the lower ranked opponents. And now he's on his way to climbing the top. Also, if Khabib hadn't retired and Makhachev had been in the top 5, the two brothers would have had to fight. I think Makhachev's career plan was effective even in Khabib's retirement.

Islam's standup is impressive, very sharp - Khabib on the ground is pure domination and movement, intelligent understanding and use of balance to completely kill off the opponent
islam puts more energy in his celebration than he does in the fight XD

Look at that sweep by Makhachev at 4:45. He blocks the knee and then before Tsarkukyan could plant his foot, Makachev sweeps his grounded leg and takes him down. Amazing!

@@astwas yeah I hope he gets the championship bit he’s nowhere near as good as khabib tbh. Don’t have the constant pressure, no unrelenting GNP, not as good a chin either. He’s got better striking for sure tho. Much more methodical and slow, not as risk taking. He definitely doesn’t go for every shot he can take. More like GSP than Khabib.
